The Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced VLSI Design and Verification is a two-year full-time course offered by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, BITS Pilani. The course starts with a refresher of basic concepts in digital design followed by introduction to Verilog HDL. In the second semester, students are exposed to various aspects of VLSI design starting from device physics to CMOS logic circuits. The third semester emphasizes on system-level verification using commercial EDA tools like Mentor Graphics QuestaSim. Students also get an opportunity to work on live projects in the industry during their fourth semester.
