Lessons from the story of the Titanic
" When the Titanic was sinking, there were three ships nearby.
One was called "Sampson". That ship was only seven miles away. They saw the Titanic's distress signal, but they were illegally fishing for seals. They turned the ship around and went far away to avoid being caught.
Think about this ship. You will see that it is similar to many of us. We are those who only think about ourselves. We do not have a headache at all about what happened to other people's lives. They were the ones on that ship.
The second ship was called "Californian". It was only fourteen miles away from the Titanic at that time. There was ice around that ship. The captain saw the Titanic's desire to live. But the situation was not favorable and it was dark all around, so he decided to go to sleep. He would see if anything could be done in the morning. All the other crew members of the ship reassured themselves by saying That the matter is not so serious.
This ship also speaks to the hearts of many of us. Those of us who think that after an incident, that at that moment we have nothing to do. If the situation is favorable, we will jump.
The last ship was called "Carpathians".
This ship was actually going in the opposite direction. It was about fifty-eight miles away when they heard the screams of the Titanic passengers on the radio.
The captain of the ship knelt on the deck. Prayed to God to show them the right path. Then he broke the ice with full force and moved towards the Titanic.
It was precisely because of this decision of this ship that seven hundred and five passengers of the Titanic survived.
Lesson from the story
It is good to remember that you will have a thousand reasons to avoid responsibility, but those who will make a permanent place in the minds of people who will jump without thinking when others are in danger. History may not remember them, but they will be captured in folk tales sung by people from generation to generation.
Whatever happens happens for the better
As I grow older,
I gradually realized one thing,
I can't actually change anyone's fate.
I haven't even been given the responsibility of changing anyone's fate.
I can only try for the well-being of a person,
I can pray for him.
There is a beautiful Japanese story about fate...
In the village of Takamaya in Japan, there lived a wise and old farmer.
The farmer had a beautiful and strong horse.
He used the horse for agricultural work, carrying heavy things, and for daily travel.
One day, the horse went missing.
He couldn't be found.
The farmer's wife was very upset. But the farmer had no restlessness. He had no regrets.
He had no worries about the lost horse. He looked at him as if he had lost nothing.
The neighbors came and said,
"What a misfortune for you! Even one horse is lost."
Hearing this, the farmer smiled a little and said, "Maybe."
A few days later, the horse returned to the farmer's house, and with it three more wild horses.
There was great joy in the farmer's house.
Not only did the lost horse return, but three more horses came with it.
The neighbors came to see him again, and they all kept telling the man,
"What a misfortune for you, you have found your lost horse back, and three more horses too."
The farmer smiled as before, "Maybe."
Two days later, the farmer's only son tried to ride a wild horse. But he fell off the horse.
And he fell and broke his leg.
The neighbors came and were very sorry to hear this news.
He said to the farmer sadly,
"That's how the son's leg broke, it's really unfortunate!"
Hearing this, the farmer smiled and said, "It could be."
The next day, the king's soldiers arrived at the farmer's house. They had come to take the young boys of the village for the war.
But seeing the farmer's son's broken leg, they left without taking him.
This time, the neighbors all came and said,
"You see, you are very lucky, your son will not have to go to war and die again."
The farmer smiled and replied the same, "It could be."
This old farmer's words came true.
Lessons from the story
In this life, you have to accept everything, good and bad.
Just as you have to accept the light of day with love,
You have to accept the darkness of night in the same way.
You have to rest in silence.
The happiness of life is so beautiful because there is sorrow.
Everything in life,
"It could be"
"All is well"
