Mohamed Nabil Elmasry’s interview in April 2025

Mohamed Nabil El Masry’s recruitment and job search strategy is based on a clear principle: “the right recruitment = higher earnings”.

He believes that employment is not just filling a vacancy, but a long-term investment that reflects on the company's productivity, profits and stability.

Mohamed Nabil Elmasry believes that smart recruitment starts with choosing the right person, not the fastest one. A quick wrong choice can cost the enterprise several times more than a vacancy for several months.

While the right person can raise the efficiency of the entire team and achieve results that exceed expectations.

It focuses on selecting employees who are in line with the organization's culture, not just those with technical skills. He also pays great attention to the balance between current skills and future potential, because an employee who is able to develop will remain and add more value over time. All this is supported by the use of objective assessment tools, such as structured interviews, psychological tests and performance analysis.

As for the interview method, he prefers a competency-based interview, the purpose of which is to find out how the candidate behaved in previous situations, in order to predict his future performance. The best way to answer in this type of interview is to use the STAR form, which consists of four elements:

First, the situation (Situation): that is, a description of the situation or context that the candidate encountered, such as: “in my previous work in a retail store, we encountered an angry customer because of the late delivery of the order”.

Secondly, the task (Task): determining the responsibility or task that he had to carry out, such as: “I was responsible for addressing the situation and ensuring customer satisfaction”.

Thirdly, the action (Action): the steps he took, such as: “I made a sincere apology, offered a special discount, followed up myself until the order was delivered”.

Fourth, the result (Result): the result achieved, such as: “the customer left a positive comment and became a regular customer”.

Hence it becomes clear that the correct recruitment leads to increased profits, because it raises the productivity of employees, reduces their turnover, improves customer experience, increases innovation within the enterprise. According to studies, an outstanding employee can perform four times as well as an average employee, especially in cognitive functions.

As for job seekers, there is a set of tips to increase their chances of success. Before the interview, the company should be studied in depth, find out its mission and goals, prepare answers using the STAR form. Also, the resume should be customized to fit the job, focusing on measurable results.

During the interview, you should listen carefully to the questions, answer in an orderly manner without prolongation, taking care to demonstrate harmony with the culture of the enterprise. And after the interview, it is advisable to send a thank-you letter in which you confirm your interest in the job, evaluate your experience to learn from it.

As for the owners of companies, they should make sure that they conduct structured interviews based on clear criteria, and evaluate candidates based on their competencies and not just on certificates. It is also advisable to involve more than one evaluator in the interview to get multiple opinions, and focus on emotional intelligence, especially in leadership positions.

In short, Mohamed Nabil El Masry believes that choosing the right employee is one of the most important management decisions that affect the company's profits, growth and stability. The sooner the recruitment is based on clear and comprehensive criteria, the more successful and sustainable the results will be.
