Letter To My Life Hero
To Mrs Ward Assistant Class Teacher

To Mrs. Ward (Class Assistant Teacher)
This is a letter from me to you just so you know that you changed a life due to your actions and kindness. Thank you for helping me in primary school, in year 3, when I was struggling.
Before you came to help me, I used to be on the lowest table in primary school and then within a year I was on the third top table. This helped because then I could learn things which I had never even heard of. When I found out that you were also my teacher in year 5, I was happy as then I would be able to get more help. Then after 6 months of more help I was on the second top table. This meant a lot to me as 2 years ago I was on the lowest table and now I was nearly at the top. I never knew how much a teacher could help a child.
Before I had even told you that I did not understand you already knew, and you came to me to explain.
Thanks to you I got to pass my Sat's, this meant a lot to me because before you came and helped me, I had failed my Sat's in year 2. I really did not know what I was doing, however when you helped, I started to understand things and from then I started to know what to do. You put me in homework club so that I can get help there if I do not understand at home, in year 6 you put in the Sat's revision classes.
I really enjoyed my final 3 years at primary school, I knew what I was learning about, I knew what to do when difficult questions came my way and most of all I could finally reach my potential, which I could not have reached without you. I was held back due to the lack of understanding of the Teachers explanation. The only thing I understood was a little bit about how computers work and how to use a computer. Which made me feel like I would be a person who worked with computers when I am older. Computing was my favourite subject, and you knew so you specifically tried not to waste time in them lessons, and you made them lessons not just fun for me but also for everyone else. You then taught me what was English and every day, during the school assembly you help me with English and understanding words. There was only one thing that I did not learn from you was spelling. My spelling was bad and because you were helping me with lots of things there was no time. After I finished year 3, I thought I would never learn spelling. However, when I found out I had you in year 5, I knew I would finally learn how to spell words. You understood me like no one else. Everything from then became easier, all thanks to you and your help. Without your hand guiding me, I would not have had a clue what was going on.
Whenever I did not understand something, you would come to me, explain and when I would not understand you tried to explain it in a different way until I understood, which is why I found education a lot easier and enjoyable to learn, and I still do. When you finished explaining to me, I would understand what we were learning, and it made a lot more sense after you came and helped me in my learning.
Your help was a key part of my education, and I will never forget what you did and sacrificed for me just so I could understand what was going on.
I can never thank you enough for all your and support.
