Bullies
The autumn leaves descend from the winding branches. A handsome white barn owl sits perched, looking outward with its deep neutral gaze as the leaves are being carried off by the soft wind. It jumps off, flapping its wings in mid-air. It soars through the cool breeze, hovering across the empty streets. It heads downward towards another tree, planted near a large high school building with cool, grey walls and sky blue balconies. On the side of the building, the owl lands on the subtle tree branch staring at the third floor of the building. It peers through the window, observing inside the classroom.

From Nomadic Origins to a United Legend
DID YOU EVER try learning a new language? Maybe Russian, or Chinese? Complicating stuff, right? But, did you know that the great American language is not even American at all! Sociology is the study of society and the people who coexist within it. Language plays a huge roll in the creating of societies. As for the nation of America, the people who were forming it decides to borrow a few dialects instead of creating a new one. The American language is unique due to how the German, French, and Spanish cultures combine together in making the American-English vocabulary.

The Secondary Life of Mr Davies: Episode 3
Mr. Davies was early. He glanced at his watch. Half past 8. Perhaps everyone else was just late! He crossed the threshold into a large room which smelled faintly of boredom. He unwound the lid of his travel mug and approached the kitchenette in the corner of the room. A chemistry teacher greeted him smiling, happily stirring his morning coffee, which was imprisoned in a chipped China mug, blackened from repeated use, with the chemical symbol for copper and phosphorus emblazoned on the front in a witty attempt to spell ‘cup.’ Mr. Davies smiled back to complete their speechless exchange, whilst he poured brown granules into his mug directly from the jar. He flipped on the magic hot water dispenser and listened to the sound of his coffee being instantly brewed. Mr. Davies wasn’t keen on a great many things, but he liked the hot water dispenser. A lot.

What Are Graduate Nurse Learning Objectives?
Nursing profession requires much more than a strong mindset and an inner urge to care for the patients afflicted with illnesses. These professionals have nerves of steel to handle the daily challenges common in nursing profession. They need to be vigilant round the clock as well as ensure that timely medication and proper care is provided to the injured and sick ones. If you are someone who has always dreamed of being a nurse, opting for a nursing profession could be a wise option for your career.

The Inbetweeners
There is a group that is often forgotten in the rush of college applications, scholarships, and AP classes. The group that is in between. This group dwells in the realm of regular classes and advanced classes; maintaining either a low B or a high C. Sometimes they are advanced for the regular class but not enough to keep up with the advanced classes. They struggle a little more and much more often; however. This may seem good as they spend more effort trying to keep their grades high. But I would also argue many would not make the effort to change their grades as they would believe they would never get higher than a C or B depending on how high they can bring up their grade from their previous failing grade. Or worse, the grade will never change so they stick to regular classes or just don't put enough effort into raising the falling grade as compared to others who cannot live with below average grades. They constantly compare themselves with these other students wanting to be better. Meanwhile, the inbetweener struggles to maintain a C. Their self-esteem crumbles. What little image they have created for themselves becomes insignificant to everyone else who is sure and has the ability to see themselves as someone who needs to improve day by day.

Studying From Home
I am an Open University student and have just successfully completed my first year of distance learning. Although I am satisfied with my grade, a lot of mistakes were made to get it. I don't claim to be the perfect student, nor am I anywhere near finished with my journey. I still have a few more years and a lot of work to go, so I am not writing "DO THESE THINGS AND YOU WILL GET GOOD GRADES!!!" Or something similar, because I don't think anyone can tell you how to do that, for sure. We are all different and learn in different ways. These are just a few things that made the first leg of my journey a bit easier.

Life After Graduation
That is it. It is done. Over. Caput. You have graduated. After five years of sorrow, deadlines, super hectic timetables, loveless love life, meaningless jobs, sleepless nights, tasteless meals, moneyless wallets, and sugarless coffee, you finally made it. Now it is the time of your life, the time for you to shine, earn money, and go to an expensive holiday somewhere with an exotic two-word name.
