Severe Disadvantages Of Standardized Testing
Einstein once said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” (Goodreads). Knowledge defines what we know and understand. Imaginations are what will discover in the future. Standardized testing was created in the 1920s, by Alfred Binet. Standardized tests are given to students in a consistent matter. This means each student is given the same question, the same amount of time to complete the test, and is also scored on the same scale for everyone. These questions could be true and on multiple questions. However, there is an ongoing argument on whether standardized tests are a valid method to determine a student’s level of knowledge. People who support standardized testing argue that this is a valid way to eliminate bias in grading, and that identifies where a student is struggling the most. While many institutions standardized testing, it is not a reliable measure to determine a student’s performance.

Blended Learning, Collaborative Learning, and Intercultural Communicative Competence
Blended Learning and Collaborative Learning In today's universal world, the prominence of English can neither be denied nor ignored since English is the most communal language spoken everywhere. It is a prominent fact that English is the most broadly used language and the paramount vehicle of international communication in the world that has become the lingua franca in almost every university regardless of the program course is. Based on the Education Committee (EDCOM) Report (1991) identified English as the snag in student achievement. The demand of learning this English-taught course, especially in college, materializes international collaboration, and a growing number of opportunities for student‟s interaction with different countries students. Undoubtedly, having frequent interactions with different people from different countries is the best method to enhance one‟s overall level of intelligence (Yordanova, 2011). The output of this language must be premeditated prudently and vividly so that students can comprehend and communicate effectively and efficiently in the class and outside as well.

Creative Teaching: Qualities, Attitudes, Values, Hopes, and Beliefs
Teachers’ perceptions and attitudes have a strong impact on the learning space’s educational and social climate (Vollmer, 2000), and their knowledge, skills, and attitudes are closely interrelated (Bloom, 1956) and both are likely to affect learning space practice (Banks, 2004; den Brok, Bergen, & Brekelmans, 2006). Teachers are expert professionals, knowledgeable, and are granted creative autonomy in the learning space of creative class (Florida, 2002) require creative teaching that emphasizes learning for deeper understanding, rather than mastery of lower-order facts and skills (Bereiter, 2002; Kafai & Resnick, 1996). Teaching in multi-cultural learning space especially requires specific competencies in creating positive teacher-student relations and achieving student engagement (Dubbeld, et al., 2019).

My Filipino Story, Part Three
In every interesting plot of a tale of highschool woes, there is almost always at the center of it the one group of people that dominate and rule the social scene, the ubiquitous popular crowd. In my school, a Filipino catholic school run by Augustinian Recollect nuns at that time, that set was The Amoebas. The Amoebas did not sport the telltale high-low popular girl uniform like immaculate gel nails, polka dotted Mango mini skirts, Balenciaga sneakers, armed with their LV cross bodies, but you could still sort of sniff their ilk out of the crowd.

How to keep personal biases aside while teaching young students
I am a highly opinionated person who is never afraid to voice personal views and biases, no matter how different they are from popular beliefs (Santa Claus is real, okay?). But I tread carefully while expressing my personal views in the classroom as it can have a deep impact on the way my students think. Manipulating students’ thought processes and making intellectual replicas of myself is the last thing our society needs (one is enough - trust me!). So, how can a teacher keep his/her personal biases aside while teaching students?

Creativity
Creativity Creativity is generally defined as the ability to produce novel, appropriate, and useful ideas (Amabile, 1983). It is about the creation of novel and useful products including ideas as well as concrete objects (Sawyer, 2006; Sternberg & O’Hara, 1999; see also Amabile, 1996) and also about the totality of creative accomplishments (Piffer, 2012) including acts, ideas, or products that change existing domains, or that transforms an existing domain into a new one (Csikszentmihalyi, 1996). Every individual has the potential to become creative as long as he or she effectively utilizes ordinary cognitive processes to produce extraordinary creative outcomes (Finke et al., 1992; Ward, Smith, & Vaid, 1997; Weisberg, 1993).

My Favourite Books of the decade (2010-2019)
Those that know me, know that I love to read. It’s one of my favourite hobbies and it’s what’s inspired my love of storytelling, journaling and creative writing. I have over 300 (maybe even more) in books in just my bedroom alone and I never appear to have enough. Although, one could argue that it’s never possible for one to have enough books. Without further ado, here is a list of books that have been published this past decade that have left a footprint on my heart or have challenged my way of thinking. Sometimes both .
