Crack the </code> for... Studying
Here are some key organization tips which helped me raise my GPA. My first tip is for when you go shopping for school supplies. Always pick up supplies that match in color. This will make color coordination of the supplies a lot easier later on. If you have four classes pick up a binder/notebook in four colors. The magic of color coordination is the ability to sort information and objects quickly and easily. Use color coordination in your highlighting and in your binders/notebooks themselves. For example, make science all blue, math all purple, English all yellow and history all red. Science would, then, have a blue folder, a blue notebook, and a blue index card holder. This way when you see your blue notebook or blue folder you know already that it is for your science class.

Cheating In Schools: What Can Be Done?
In last year’s college admissions scandal, Rick Singer was accused of receiving twenty-five million dollars from rich parents to bribe coaches, create false athletic records, and doctor SAT scores (Westfall). The story underscores the win-at-all-costs measures taken by parents and students to get into highly competitive colleges at the expense of academic integrity regardless of the students’ qualifications. In recent years, there have been increasing numbers of cheating scandals. Approximately 75% of college students surveyed each year have admitted to having cheated at some point during their academic careers (Frank). This supports the notion that academic success is more important to students than learning the material. The question is why? Ideally, academic success is aligned to mastery of the material. However, when the pressure is on, students prioritize performing well even to the point of cheating over learning the material. This issue can be resolved if the education system changed to focus more on teaching for the sake of learning instead of teaching to the test.

Why High School Isn't So Useful
School has been known to be the only gateway in life. It's seemed as it's the cure for people to achieve a career and give them an automatic scholarship into a job. Most of this is determined during high school years. These are either your worst 4 years of your life or your best 4 years of your life. This is when you try to get noticed by top colleges. Usually studying all day and trying to reward yourself with a letter that defines you. Everyone or mostly everyone aims for an A. I say mostly because I don't.
