Kim Kardhashian at Harvard
Kardashian and Jens Grede were at Harvard to talk to students about Skims.

Kim Kardashian isn't necessarily known for her business savvy and entrepreneurial knowledge, but she knows a thing or two about running a successful empire. Some people, however, think Kardashian shouldn't be giving advice. She came under fire on social media last weekend for the shapewear company Skims' co-founder Jens Grede, who is also Kardashian's partner, gave a presentation at Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Kardashian spoke with students for nearly two hours as a direct-to-consumer seminar in Cambridge on Friday.
What was the lecture about?
She shared her experiences and lessons learned while building her successful business empire. Through her story, she highlighted the importance of hard work, resilience, and dedication in achieving success. Although she had a wealthy family to back her up, for some her talk was an inspiring reminder that anyone can achieve their dreams if they are willing to put in the effort and dedication required for success.
Well, she had to get a duck-face Harvard pic cause the usual wont cut it. Way to go Kim!
Tweets flew to criticise Harvard's decision to invite the 42-year-old to speak at the highly reputable institution.
All that said and done, there weren't all anti-KimK who gave credibility for her brand that she has established.
"I don't get what the hate is about. A bunch of jealous people," one user pointed out. "The reality is, she wasn't born ultra wealthy. She created a company, leveraged her talents, and built a brand."
In her latest Skims campaign for Valentines day, she managed to get the internet hailing her for the smart move with the breakout stars of 'White Lotus'
She may know a thing or two about capitalising on cultural moments to market her brand.
An all-star cast head to a resort and unleash their worst, most privileged impulses. The series is a sharp social satire following the exploits of various guests and employees of the fictional White Lotus resort chain, whose stay becomes affected by their various dysfunctions. A week in the life of vacationers is unravelled as they relax and rejuvenate in paradise. With each passing day, a darker complexity emerges in these picture-perfect travellers, the hotel's cheerful employees, and the idyllic locale itself.
