I said goodbye to computer games
With the advent of the Internet era, all people are fascinated by a wide variety of computer games. I am no exception, from the beginning of the "tank battle" play, until now the "Sailor", "Warcraft" and so on, I have their own "But after playing a "mind game" with my dad, I made up my mind to say goodbye to computer games this summer and study hard.
After the final exams were over, I was home for the holidays and my mom and dad were working during the day, so I thought I could relax a little bit now. Although my mom and dad called me every day to ask what I was doing, I said I was reading a book, anyway, I have read a lot of books, just say it and deal with the past. However, on the third day, my dad found some clues. He checked the daily switch-on and switch-off time of the computer and asked me what I was doing with the computer on for so long every day, and whether I was playing games. Without evidence, I refused to admit it, only saying that sometimes I look up something and forget to turn off the computer. This is how the "mind games" between my dad and me started.
Maybe my dad didn't believe what I said and set a password for the computer. I didn't know the password, so I was in a hurry. I tried all the passwords that my dad could use, but none of them were correct. I wanted to ask about it, but I was afraid of arousing suspicion. What should I do? The good thing is that my dad still encouraged me to learn something about computers and learn something from them. When my dad was at work, I called him and told him that I couldn't do some topics on my summer homework and wanted to check the computer. My dad had no choice but to give me the password, and he also told me to study hard and not to play games. Finally, I can play games again, haha, I play less for a while, who will know it?
I think my dad is still not too sure, he asked for my qq number password, set the computer remote control to automatically receive remote control connections, and installed the networker remote control software, but in the control, my computer desktop is prompted, this secret was inadvertently discovered by me, so close! To be on the safe side, I applied for a new qq number, didn't tell anyone the password and set it to incognito login. The networker remote control software that dad installed is a free version, so it can't be controlled invisibly. Every time I open my computer, I set its remote control to off. When I heard my dad say that this free version of the software was not working well, I just snickered on the sidelines. Haha, want to spy on me, not so easy, right?
Dad installed the Shutdown King software on his computer again. You can set the computer to shut down automatically after 55 minutes each time you turn it on, and you can't start it up again for a long time after you shut it down; and you can't open web pages and software with keywords like "games", "movies", "TV", etc. "and other keywords on the computer web pages, software, etc.. After my many trials, as long as the computer is turned off before 55 minutes, I can start the computer again and play for another 55 minutes; some games can still be opened and played as long as they do not contain the word "game". Unfortunately, I hadn't played for a while when my dad appeared behind me and was caught in the act, and he "praised" me, saying that you're a smart kid. Ha ha, although caught, but this is purely accidental.
Dad added a new user name on the computer for me to use "parental control" to set the time period when the computer can be turned on. I also installed a sunflower remote control software, not only can open my computer desktop, you can always see what programs my computer is running, but also control the home camera to see what is in front of the computer. It's terrible, and it also limits the time you can open your computer. The next day it just so happened that my cousin was playing computer games at my house and I stood back and watched for a while, when my dad found out and immediately called to reprimand me. After a while I turned the camera around and came back in to watch for a while, but my dad still knew about it, and I still can't figure out how it was discovered. I still can't figure out how I was found out. It's really "one foot high, one foot high" and "ginger is still old and hot". After a week of continuous "mind games" with my dad, I finally lost the battle.
With my dad's patient education and help, I realized my mistake. In fact, I knew some truths, and I knew the harm of computer games, but I couldn't control myself. After that day, I made a detailed plan for my summer study life, writing down clearly what I should do in each time period every day, and arranged the time for doing summer homework, reading extracurricular books, playing piano, learning computer knowledge, and playing basketball reasonably. My dad always gives me some surprises when he sees that I am doing well. I feel that this summer has passed for more than a month, and I feel that it has gone by very fast, every day is very full, every day has a lot of gains, it turns out that not playing computer games is also very happy. I don't have the nervousness of playing games and worrying about catching them anymore. Although I was a little upset about losing the "mind games" with my dad, I enjoyed my summer life again. However, I still schedule one lesson a day to learn about computers, and I look forward to having another "mind game" with my dad in the near future.
