From Stuck to Hired: How One Online Course Changed My Career

Two years ago, I sat in my car in the office parking lot, staring at the dashboard and silently debating whether I should walk into the building or drive away and never look back.

I worked as a customer support representative for a mid-size tech company. Not exactly a “dream” job, but it paid the bills—barely. Two interviews and one take-home assignment later, I had an offer. A real offer. For a junior project manager role, with a 35% salary increase, remote flexibility, and—most importantly—a team that respected me from day one.

The job changed my life. But the course changed my mindset.

That first online class gave me a taste of something bigger: the power of self-investment.
