With the CBSE 2025 results now declared, students across the country are radiating positivity and gearing up for the next exciting chapter — college life. On this proud occasion, the outstanding students of Apeejay School, Noida, have once again proved their mettle with remarkable results. They have truly embodied the school’s guiding motto: Soaring high is my nature.
Read on to know more about their strategies, which led them to reach such great heights..
Rakshita Mishra, a Humanities student who scored an outstanding 99%, shared, “I was genuinely surprised by my result. I hadn’t expected such high marks, especially in Political Science, where I scored a perfect 100. Initially, it felt unreal, but soon the joy sank in. My favourite subjects are Political Science and Economics. One of the key strategies that helped me was thorough revision. I read my NCERT books at least eight times before the board exams. Since the subjects are fact-based and I don’t rely on rote learning, this approach worked for me.”
She is especially grateful to her parents for helping me manage exam stress. “They were always there to lift my mood, crack jokes, and take me out for walks during anxious moments. And of course, my dog was a constant source of comfort and emotional support. Looking ahead, I plan to crack the CUET and eventually aim for the UPSC,” she said.
Manavi Minocha, who scored an impressive 98.2%, mentioned, “I was thrilled to see two centums in Psychology and Political Science. I’ve always been interested in Psychology, so scoring 100 felt especially rewarding. I wasn’t under pressure to achieve a particular score, but I stayed motivated throughout. My parents and teachers continuously guided and supported me in the right direction. One of the most helpful habits I developed was actively listening in class. Understanding concepts from teachers made it easier to recall them later during self-study.”
She often studied by walking and speaking out loud — it helped her retain information better by engaging multiple senses. “My approach was simple yet consistent: I revised whatever was taught in school, stuck strictly to NCERT textbooks, and made concise notes directly in them for quick recall. I believe consistency and discipline mattered more than just study hours, though before exams, I typically studied for five hours a day,” she shared. and added that she had a dedicated study space to maintain focus and used creative outlets like dancing, mandala art, and painting to manage stress. These activities helped her “relax while still feeling productive.
Looking ahead, I plan to pursue Psychology Honours, but I’m also open to Political Science or Mass Communication,” she stated.
Ananya Shunglu, another impeccable student who scored 97.4%, shared: “When I first saw my result, I couldn’t believe it. I thought I had opened someone else’s marksheet! I’ve always considered myself an above-average student, but never imagined scoring as high as 97.4%. After my Board practicals ended, I became completely focused on preparation. I avoided all outings and social events to stay dedicated to my studies. I followed a disciplined routine — waking up early, studying for seven hours a day, and consistently writing down notes, which helped with retention.”
The school played a huge role in her success. “Our teachers were incredibly supportive — always available to clear doubts, even over messages. I would regularly visit the school in February just to get my queries resolved,” she said and added that to manage stress, she turned to music as it was her comfort zone during intense study sessions.
“For juniors, especially Humanities students, my advice is: don’t just read — write. Writing helps solidify concepts and prevents information from slipping away. And during board prep, focus solely on the Boards, even if you’re preparing for other entrance exams like CUET or CLAT. Looking ahead, I aim to pursue the UPSC path,” she said in conclusion.
