A 1-2-3 Process to Creative Writing

Short and sweet and to the point.

If you create and follow a simple outline creating the most elaborate works is a breeze.

Having a writer's block day... month.... week.... not to mention year... What you need is a debugging of your brain.

Here in this article is a simple process to clear that writers block. Keep it simple and you will find the next hot article ideas to write.

Ok. Sit. Relax. Meditate, with eyes open or closed for a moment.

Being able to relax, even somewhat, gets a person ready to write some ideas. Wheat leads us to our first process?

1) Brainstorming:

However before we start here's a supplement if you are really stuck. If you can't even decided on what subject to choose let alone whats associated with it try

0) Brainstorming what to write:

• About what you're thinking about now.

• About writers block.

• That song you can't get out of your head.

• Being at your desk. And so on.

Whatever sights you're seeing. Yeah even that thing on the bookshelf. Write a list of what you're thinking, feeling, seeing, doing, worried about, happy about, whatever.

OK:

You've chosen what subject to write. Great! Onward to...

1) Brainstorming. Now blast out words & phrases associated with that subject.

Scribble all around that piece of paper as many words as you can.

When you're done we go on to the second process.

2) Outline:

An outline is a guide to creating a written paper. Decide whats going to be in the Introduction, Body1 (Body2 or 3 if needed) & Conclusion.

You do this by using the words and phases you've written down in your brainstorming.

Those words and phrases are your ideas to create paragraphs. You're not writing paragraphs, not yet.

What your doing is placing those words and phases into it proper places. Dose this phase or word belong to the Introduction? Or dose these phases belong to the conclusion? Whats needed for the body? And so on.

3) The Draft & Finish:

Using the outline create the content. In following your outline you write your introduction, paragraphs, body paragraphs and the conclusion.

Making it 350 to 500 word keeps it to the point and you wont ramble. If planning to write more extensive work stick to the outline as your writing guide.

You're finished, great! Don't make a big deal about it that's the key to finishing the writing and going onto you next writing.

Tip: Practice make perfect not Perfect makes practice so if you're nervous about getting this just right...don't. Get started anyway.

Also try:

Going out for a walk, Exercise, doing a joyful activity (that helps me).

Reflecting to ones self on why one would have a writer's block will help too.

Maybe you need new experiences; or even trying out an experience you would normally not do as well as experiences that you know you will hate.

Sometimes these shifts in perspective can be boons for new ideas in subjects you never thought of before.

Becoming interested in what other people do...:

can also be a way to conquer the writers block. I think writers block can be a result of being too focused on oneself.

Seeing what other people do can be a sort of respite of the mind. It's to allow the broadening of one's perspective mentally.

Writers block can happen when the perspective of the mind become too narrow and there one looses sight of broader perspectives.

Walking along street fairs, farmer's markets on a Sunday morning, watching street merchants or other outdoor events can put your mind at ease. The point is to relieve the pressure and stress that could be the underlying cause of your writers block.

Taking a vacation:

Some people are high volume content creators. Which may mean the writers block could be a signal to take a vacation.

It doesn't have to be an extended one. It could be a mini vacation like taking a day trip, or in many cases go around the globe with your laptop.

And dare I say it. Wipe the fact that you are a writer out of your mind. Not forever. But for a period of time to identify yourself as someone other than just a writer.

And if you're worried about loosing you're talent you probably have to much stress on you anyway.

Finally. Don't commit to do a vacation to get rid of the writers block. It may be too much pressure to get results from that vacation.

The point is to relax a much as possible and not think about the writers block. The Writer's block can take care of it's self and will dissipate.
