The story of Princess Lucy

In the past, there were two princesses, one called Princess Lucy and one called Princess Jodi, who lived in two weak countries respectively. Lucy was a kind princess, beautiful and lovely, Jody was also very beautiful, but she was very arrogant and thought she was the most beautiful princess.

Finally, a big country wiped out all the weak countries. The army attacked the palace and the ladies-in-waiting panicked and fled for their lives. Lucy and her father, on the other hand, changed into the clothes of the ladies-in-waiting and soldiers-in-waiting to escape from the palace. Jodi and her father were killed because they did not want to change into the clothes of the maids and soldiers to escape from the palace, saying that it was degrading so they were found by the army and killed.

Lucy and her father fled to the countryside and were recognized by a woman, who immediately knelt, which made Lucy feel very surprised, Lucy took a closer look and recognized that it was a woman she had saved five days ago. The woman called Lucy her benefactor, but Lucy said she was not used to calling her Lucy, so the woman complied. In order not to attract the attention of the enemy, Lucy called the woman her sister-in-law, and the woman called the king her father. Since the woman and Lucy polished the fruits clean every day, they were liked by the people and everyone was willing to buy their fruits. After a few weeks, the women and Lucy's fruits became famous in the city.

When the young king found out about it, he sent someone to arrest the woman and Lucy. After the woman and Lucy were caught in the palace, the king told the woman and Lucy to raise their heads, so the woman and Lucy had no choice but to comply with the order, the king looked back and was amazed by Lucy's beauty.

Plato's Basket

A man felt that life was heavy, so he went to see the philosopher find a way to relieve himself.

Plato said nothing but gave him a basket to carry on his shoulders and pointed to a gravel path and said, "Pick up a stone to put in it at every step you take and see how it feels." The man began to follow what Plato said, and Plato walked quickly to the other side of the road.

After a while, the man reached the end of the path, and Plato asked him what he felt.

The man said, "It feels heavier and heavier."

"That's why you feel that life is getting heavier and heavier." Plato said, "Everyone comes into the world with an empty basket on their back, and every step they take on the path of life they have to take one thing from the world and put it in, so they feel more and more tired as they go."

The man asked, "Is there any way to relieve these heavy burdens?"

Plato asked him in return, "So which would you rather take out: work, love, family, or friendship?" The man listened and was silent.

Plato said, "Since all of them are difficult to part with, think not of the heaviness of carrying, but of the joy of having. The basket of each of us contains not only the gifts given to us by God but also responsibilities and duties. When you feel the heaviness, maybe you should be glad that you are not another one, because his basket may be much bigger and heavier than yours. When you think of it this way, don't you have more joy in your basket?" The man listened and realized.

Insight: life in the world would have a lot of happiness and joy, do not always carry the burden of the past on your body and put it on your heart. Be optimistic and think about happy things more often, and you will find that your heart is naturally much lighter.

Riddle

Why is the forest so busy today? Oh, it's a riddle contest.

First, the monkey asked a question: "Sitting is also sitting, lying is also sitting, standing is also sitting, walking is also sitting. Guess who it is?" At the end of the sentence, the eyes of the animals all turned to the snake. The little monkey shook his head, and the little frog jumped up and said, "That's me."

The little pig then said the riddle: "Who uses thread without needles? Who lights a lamp without working?" The rabbit answered, "The spider is the one who uses thread without needles. The firefly is the one who lights the lamp and does not work." The little pig nodded and everyone praised the little rabbit for its cleverness.

The atmosphere was very active as the animals answered the riddle.

Finally, the elephant trunk, read a poem: "a general cloak, two generals yellow robe, three generals fat head and fat brain, four generals thin scraping." Everyone knew that the four brothers were the lion, the tiger, the bear, and the wolf. The wolf was so angry that it croaked.

The riddle-guessing activity was over, and the little animals went home happily.
