Bennett, 57, has suffered from severe heart failure and must be kept alive by extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
Bennett successfully received a heart transplant at the University of Maryland Medical Center on January 7 this year, and the heart was in good condition without immune rejection.
But starting a few days ago, Bennett's health gradually deteriorated and eventually became untreatable.
Nuclear leakage.
Ukraine says power outage at Chernobyl nuclear power plant could lead to nuclear leakage.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Qureba (Dmytro Kuleba) said on Twitter that the only power grid at Ukraine's Chernobyl nuclear power plant was damaged, which supplies power to the plant and all nuclear facilities, so all facilities at the Chernobyl plant were cut off.
However, due to the current conflict, the high-voltage power lines cannot be repaired immediately.
However, according to a statement issued by Ukrainian power system operators, they started emergency diesel generators on site to power critical systems.
In the case of fault-free operation, the diesel generator can run for 48 hours.
However, after 48 hours, the cooling system of the spent fuel storage facility will be shut down, which may lead to the release of radioactive material into the environment.
In addition, in the absence of electricity, the ventilation system of the plant will not work, which will expose workers to dangerous doses of radiation.
However, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) later said on Twitter that the heat load and cooling water contained in the spent fuel storage pool at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant are sufficient to maintain effective heat dissipation without power supply, so the power outage will not have a significant impact on safety.

There may be a gas disk full of black holes around the black hole at the center of the galaxy.
In 2019, the gravitational wave event GW190521 was observed by the Laser interference gravitational Wave Observatory (LIGO).
The analysis shows that the event is caused by the merging of two black holes with masses of 85 and 66 solar masses into one black hole with 142 solar masses.
However, the data show that the two black holes do not move in a circle around each other before merging, which runs counter to the usual understanding of the properties of gravitational waves.
A study published in the journal Nature on March 9 suggests a new way of thinking.
The researchers speculate that GW190521 occurs on a gas disk around a supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy.
Compared with the free three-dimensional space, the density of the black hole on this two-dimensional surface is very high. When the two black holes merge, they will not move in a circle due to the influence of the third black hole around them.
This assumption increases the probability of merging in non-circular motion by 100 times, and half of all black hole mergers on the gas disk around the black hole at the center of the galaxy are similar mergers.
If follow-up observations continue to support this model, it shows that there may be many black holes around supermassive black holes.
Twenty-four US scientists, doctors and public health experts have published a 136-page report saying that the death toll from infection with novel coronavirus is about 10 times that of other respiratory viruses.
Recently, due to the sharp decline in the number of people infected with novel coronavirus and hospitalization, various regions of the United States are relaxing epidemic prevention and control policies, but the report points out that mass immunization due to vaccines and natural infections does not necessarily reduce the risk of infection.
The report also said that life could not get back on track until novel coronavirus posed a threat similar to common respiratory viruses such as flu, so they warned not to give up their vigilance because of premature victories.
The current epidemic situation in Lianyungang City was caused by Omicron branch.
On the 9th, the fourth press conference on the prevention and control of the epidemic was held in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province.
Chen Zhi, director of the Health Commission of Lianyungang City, announced: according to the gene sequence analysis of the city's case novel coronavirus by the Jiangsu Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the novel coronavirus strain of this epidemic is an evolutionary branch of the O'Micron mutant.
In addition, by comparison and analysis, the mutant strains of this epidemic are different from the viruses that caused the epidemic in Jiangsu Province before.
Director Chen Zhi also warned that the mutant is highly communicable and easy to spread in densely populated places. In view of the seriousness and complexity of the current epidemic situation, citizens should strictly abide by various epidemic prevention and control measures, enhance their awareness of personal protection, and reduce going out as far as possible.

Tianqin-1 satellite obtains global gravity field data.
Earth gravity field data can be used in geodesy, geophysics, oil and gas resources exploration, national defense and security and other fields.
During the two sessions of the National people's Congress, Luo Jun, a deputy to the National people's Congress, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and chief scientist of China's independent space gravitational wave detection "Tianqin Project", revealed that the "Tianqin-1" satellite of Sun Yat-sen University has recently obtained global gravity field data. this is the first time that China has used domestic autonomous satellites to measure global gravity field data.
After the United States and Germany, China has become the third country with the ability to independently detect the global gravity field.
Tianqin project is a space gravitational wave detection plan put forward by Academician Luo Jun in 2014, and Tianqin-1 is not a special gravity satellite, its purpose is to verify the key technologies of space gravitational wave detection.
On August 7, 2020, Tianqin-1 carried out an experiment on the application of the earth's gravity field for about 30 hours.
After the Tianqin project team of Sun Yat-sen University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology processed the data, they recently completed the summary and evaluation of the in-orbit test and obtained the global gravity field data science report.
This result passes through the whole data processing technology of using Leo satellite to retrieve the global gravity field, and lays a solid technical foundation for the follow-up gravity satellite project in China.
At present, the "Tianqin II" verification satellite project is progressing smoothly.
