Catastrophic changes within the earth's system will be inevitable(EPA,2022). Gas powered vehicles produce 29% of these emissions, with industry leading a close second at 26%(EPA,2022). Hence I am presenting the argument that the transition to electric cars should be prioritized at all levels. It is imperative to not only pave the way for transition to electric cars, providing incentives, but also to incorporate the facts into action that the change is necessary as it affects our ultimate survival.
