THE FRUIT SELLER 'S SECRET
Title: The Fruit Seller's Secret In the bustling streets of London, amidst the sounds of honking cars and the chatter of people, there was a small fruit stall. It was run by an old man named Albert, who had been selling fruits for as long as he could remember. His stall was always filled with fresh fruits, ranging from apples and oranges to exotic fruits like mangos and kiwis. The sweet aroma of ripe fruits would waft through the air, tempting passersby to stop and make a purchase.

THE MAJESTIC OAK
Title: The Majestic Oak In a quiet and serene corner of a sprawling meadow stood a majestic oak tree. Its trunk was thick and gnarled, its branches spreading out like a canopy, casting a cool and soothing shade on the grassy knoll beneath. The oak tree was old, very old, perhaps several centuries old. It had witnessed the passage of time, seen the seasons change, and watched the meadow transform over the years.

The Earthling's Dare
Blades of grass issued into the air. The droning noise of the mowers was like the constant hum of gigantic gas-powered cicadae. Sequan Vast, six feet tall, nineteen years of age, turned his mower on a dime. His cherrywood colored skin turned darker and his short Afro sparkled with drops of water. He perfected the simple art of ensuring the blades didn’t fly in his face. A sweat stained t-shirt and gaiter, muddy boots and dirty blue jeans all showed a man bent on the execution of excellent work.

Commotion in the Ocean
What’s all the commotion?! I heard yelled out from miles of ocean. I began to survey the area, but it was too late; I was already in the throes of a giant web of plastic engulfing me and hundreds of others in its wake. It all happened so fast – before I knew it, my body was pressed up against scales and netting and the pressure was getting unbearable. I thrashed to break free, but my tail was caught. I was expending energy fast. Although I couldn’t see a thing, I could feel us all rising to the surface. My body began to tighten. “This is it,” I thought.

The Land of Mist
"The only hope I had left was the mist of the forest." It was the summer of 2017 and the helicopter was taking off from the East side of Maui nearing Hana. We were flown in pairs as we worked our way down the mountain of Haleakala, tackling aliens that invaded our forest. There were all sorts of weird strange lifeforms that invaded our home, some were twiggy and full of thorns, one species in particular had spiked berries hanging onto everything that it touched. One thing that they all had in common was their overdrive to take over our sacred home. By the time we landed, we split taking different paths to clear more ground, for the first time have I never wanted to be alone.
