Red Flower

Ruby and the story of the Red Flower

By Syeda Aiena zeeshanPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

Once upon a time, in a magical kingdom far, far away, there was a land of lush greenery and vibrant colors. The people of this land loved to tend to their gardens and grow the most beautiful flowers they could. One day, a young girl named Ruby set out to find the most magnificent flower of them all. She had heard tales of a red flower that was said to be the most beautiful in all the land.

Ruby traveled for days through fields and forests, asking everyone she met if they knew of the red flower. Some told her it was just a myth, while others claimed to have seen it once in their lifetime, but nobody knew where it could be found. Just as Ruby was about to give up her search, she stumbled upon an old woman tending to her garden. Ruby approached her and asked if she knew of the red flower.

The old woman smiled and said, "Ah, the red flower. It is said to be the most beautiful in all the land, but it can only be found by those who are pure of heart and true of spirit."

Ruby was determined to find the red flower, so she asked the old woman how she could prove her purity of heart and spirit. The old woman gave her a task. She was to tend to the old woman's garden for an entire month without expecting any reward or recognition.

Ruby accepted the task, and for the next month, she worked tirelessly in the old woman's garden. She weeded, watered, and fertilized the plants, and even sang to them to help them grow. As the month came to an end, the old woman was pleased with Ruby's dedication and told her that she had proven herself worthy of finding the red flower.

The old woman gave Ruby a map that would lead her to the red flower. Ruby set out on her journey, following the map through treacherous mountains, dense forests, and raging rivers. She faced many obstacles along the way, but her determination and pure heart kept her going.

Finally, after many weeks of travel, Ruby reached the place where the red flower was said to grow. It was a secluded meadow surrounded by towering trees. In the center of the meadow stood a single, tall flower with vibrant red petals that shimmered in the sunlight.

Ruby approached the flower, and as she drew near, she felt a warmth spread throughout her body. The red flower radiated an energy that filled her with joy and peace. Ruby knew that this was the flower she had been searching for.

She reached out to touch the petals, but just as her fingers brushed against them, she heard a loud voice booming from the sky.

"Stop!" the voice commanded. "You cannot touch the red flower!"

Ruby looked up and saw a magnificent dragon hovering in the sky. The dragon was the protector of the red flower, and it would not allow anyone to harm it.

Ruby explained that she meant no harm and only wanted to admire the flower's beauty. The dragon listened to her story and saw the purity of her heart. It decided to let her see the flower up close.

The dragon gently lowered Ruby onto the meadow, and she gazed at the red flower in wonder. She could see why it was said to be the most beautiful in all the land. Its petals were a deep shade of red, and they glimmered in the sunlight like jewels. The fragrance of the flower was sweet and intoxicating, filling her with a sense of peace and tranquility.

As Ruby stood there admiring the red flower, she realized that it wasn't just its beauty that made it special. It was the journey she had taken to find it, the obstacles she had overcome, and the purity of her heart that had led her to this moment.
