Rainbows, heaven, where dreams begin

The Rainbow Campus of the University of Hawaii, located in Oahu's MANOA Valley, is only a 20-minute drive from the famous WAIKIKI Beach. MANOA means "rainbow" in Hawaiian. This valley, with its almost every day to see the rainbow this unique natural conditions, deserved the name "Rainbow valley".

The most famous college of the University of Hawaii is the School of Marine and Earth Sciences. People here love and respect the sea, not only because of its beauty, but also because of its power and mystery.

Ocean boys and girls often go out to collect specimens. Most of them have bronzed skin. Both men and women are strong swimmers, and a few are good surfers. I had the pleasure of sailing with them once, and got terribly seasick. I was not feeling well, but it was wonderful to sit on the deck with the sea breeze, the sun rising and the seagulls flying.

The brothers and sisters of the geology department are of course masters in mountain climbing, and it is easy to cross the tropical rain forest of Rainbow Valley behind the university. They also had plenty of opportunities to travel to other uninhabited islands and search for treasure in the volcanic rocks that spread throughout.

Sometimes our classes will be moved to the teacher's home, looking at the blue sky and the blue sea through the French window. In one class, seven or eight students, accompanied by sandwiches and hamburgers, digested the esoteric mechanics of fluid mechanics, with Coca-Cola, and ice free at the teacher's house. So the teacher can also take care of her children during recess.

I also realized why teachers and students alike dressed in Hawaiian shirts, waterproof shorts, and flip-flops. They would head off to the beach and jump into the sea after class. If you don't swim, you can play volleyball in a circle.

WorkHardandPlayHard. This is what students at the university of Hawaii always do. Our nerves would get so tense at the end of final exams that, after a long night of studying, we would meet up and head to the beach to party after our last exam. In the summer, the boys all wear swimming trunks, some holding surfboards; The girls wore bikinis and beautiful Hawaiian dresses. Students who could dive donned diving suits and celebrated their victories in the cool water.

Since Hawaii is known for its beauty, there is no reason for the University of Hawaii to be an exception. The campus is tree-lined, there are many beautiful places, the valley near the school is a good place for us students to relax. Tired when lying on the green lawn, with the grass fragrant rest, wake up still birds 'twitter and fragrance of flowers, fangcao Cui around, heaven and earth.

Some Chinese seniors live in luxury homes on the beach near the university. Because their children are often away on business, they leave the housekeeper and escort to the Chinese students studying at the University. The butlers they recruited were student couples, one of whom attended school on a scholarship, the other accompanied. The one who stays at home with the student takes the old man to the beach, to the mall, to the hospital or to visit friends in Chinatown every day. The couple lives with the elderly in a mansion by the sea, enjoying a private beach and paying no rent, plus $500 a month for escorts! It's really a plum job.

If you ask me what is the most memorable thing about the University of Hawaii, I will say without hesitation: "The rainbow!" The air in rainbow Valley, where the school is located, is warm and humid, with light rain falling almost every afternoon. After a light rain, a huge rainbow appears in the sky, sometimes accompanied by the rainbow. In the Bible, the rainbow represents "God's promise". As students, we often wish on the rainbow before exams, hoping to get an A. Every time I see a rainbow in front of me, I suddenly feel that everything is full of hope, and my dream falls on the rainbow.
