Orbs and comets a sign strange things unfolding in the heavens
Could Atlas be an alien probe sent to spy on Earth?

With all that’s unfolding on the surface of our planet this year, and has been for the past five years or more, it’s hard not to wish for intervention from some benevolent samaritan who leads mankind on a new path to enlightenment, where humanity’s greed and self-interest is replaced by a spiritual awakening and cosmic transformation.
Government’s across the planet offer very little hope of this so naturally people turn to the heavens for assurance and signs there’s cause for optimism in the form of a narrative that distracts us from the misery rampant in parts of the world such as Palestine, Ethiopia, Somalia and Sudan.
They would have us believe there are plenty of signs to suggest 2025 offers that possibility, beginning with the cardinal numbers of the year itself which add up to nine... in numerological terms a number believed to herald monumental change capable of altering the course of humanity.
In spiritual realms numbers are believed to carry significant energies, with nine often considered to represent completion... its place as the last single-digit number suggesting it brings about the end of a cycle before a new one can begin. And, numerologically speaking, 2025 (2+2+5) translates as nine and so signals the completion of one phase and the emergence of another when seeds planted in the past can finally begin to bloom.
Also symbolic of wisdom and spiritual enlightenment, the number represents a deep association with life’s bigger issues and marks a time of transformation in the universe. But perhaps more significant are its humanitarian connotations which provide the opportunity to serve a higher purpose... people resonating with the number thought to be empathic and motivated to create a better world for everyone.
So, back to 2025 itself and the desire for signs of change and the promise of better times ahead. And what could be more prophetic than glowing objects in the sky that turn up on the planet’s surface or wander across the heavens within our solar system?
Well it seems 2025 is full of them and in September, the ninth month of the year, things are beginning to get really freaky. Not that strange things haven’t been happening since the spring, but stranger things are materialising now as the year draws to a climax.
But first let’s go back to March this year and unusual orbs glowing in the skies over Colombia and specifically the city of Buga, about 60 kilometres north of Cali and 250km west of Bogota. One of the oldest cities in the country, situated northwest of Las Hermosas National Natural Park, it was founded in 1555 by the Spanish conquistadors and was home to many wealthy families arriving from Spain and settling in the “new world”.
Mysteriously videos surfaced during the month of spheres darting across the skies there and shortly afterwards one was uncovered nearby from dense vegetation after supposedly crashing into a high-voltage powerline. With no visible seams, welds or conventional signs of manufacture, the discovery sparked theories of extraterrestrial contact, the object’s surface covered in symbols that don’t correspond to any known alphabet.
X-ray analysis and other physical tests on the basketball-sized orb produced unexpected results, with experts concluding no current technology could replicate it. One of the most puzzling findings indicated it had increased in weight from two kilograms to 9.9kg days after its recovery.
The metallic object is believed to comprise three layers of a metal-like material surrounded by 18 micro-spheres that encase a central nucleus, which some scientists speculate could be a quantum chip. Its surface is covered in symbols that resemble ancient scripts, including Mesopotamian runes, which researchers believe could convey a message calling on humanity to awaken. Other reports suggest touching the sphere causes sickness, while water poured on it vaporises instantly. The object is also claimed to respond to different frequencies, with no electromagnetic activity before the introduction of sound rising to levels comparable to emissions from a wi-fi router afterwards.
The sphere appears to be emitting electrical pulses too in a repetitive pattern that could indicate intelligent communication. According to Steven Greer, from the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence, “Electromagnetic energy is coming out of the sphere, but we don’t know if that’s just because it got so damaged that whatever energy or propulsion system it has is just sputtering along.” But Greer confirmed, “We do know that it’s anti-gravitic and there’s no fuel source and no radioactivity, so it has some sort of quite exotic energy and propulsion system.”
Recent Carbon-14 dating tests, organised by Greer, at the University of Georgia’s Center for Applied Isotope Studies suggest organic resin lifted from tiny holes where fibre-optic threads are held in place within the sphere could be more than 12,500 years old, dating it back to the Younger Dryas era on Earth when dramatic cooling and warming took place... which some experts suggest resulted from the impact of a disintegrating comet or asteroid.
And that’s where the next twist to the story comes in, with 2025 seeing a meteoric rise in the number of celestial travellers shooting across our solar system with, incredibly, more than five bright comets all approaching Earth this year... the most intriguing of which is 3I/Atlas, the third interstellar comet to enter our solar system in the last eight years, that was identified in July by the University of Hawaii's Institute for Astronomy.
Following Oumuamua in 2017 and Borisov in 2019, the comet’s approach was first spotted by the university’s Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (Atlas) in Chile and, unlike its predecessors whose journey through our solar system was not detected until after their passage of the sun, its trajectory has been tracked on its way towards it... the interstellar visitor predicted to come closest to our star around 30 October at a distance of about 210 million km, just inside the orbit of Mars.
Atlas should remain visible to Earth-based telescopes throughout this month but afterwards its path takes it too close to the sun to be seen, the comet only reappearing in early December when it will close to about 270 million km from our planet in the run-up to Christmas, before heading further away from it in advance of a relatively close flyby of Jupiter on its way out of our solar system next year.
Up to 20km in size and believed to be travelling in excess of 245,000km per hour, 3I/Atlas is the fastest object ever detected in our solar system and has rapidly developed into one of the most extraordinary astronomical events of our time. Results from the James Webb Space Telescope put it way outside the standard expectations of comets, with the coma surrounding it dominated by carbon dioxide rather than water... the gas accounting for 90 per cent of the plume, with water vapour making up only five per cent.
Observations from the Very Large Telescope at Cerro Paranal in Chile’s Atacama Desert have also amplified the air of mystery surrounding it, a paper by Rohan Rahatgaonkar and colleagues identifies neutral nickel atoms but no evidence of iron which contradicts all natural cometary expectations. Nickel and iron normally form together in the same layers of supernova explosions and are usually found side by side in every comet observed in our solar system. And although their relative amounts may vary, they always appear together, making the detection of nickel without iron unprecedented.
And the mysteries don’t end there, the colour of the plume itself is strange as it appears green despite the absence of dicarbon molecules which normally absorb and re-emit solar radiation to produce the characteristic fluorescence seen in many of the tails observed in comets from within our solar system. The question is: how can it glow green without the molecules that cause the fluorescence?
Further observations from the Very Large Telescope also suggest the comet is now producing massive amounts of cyanide gas, with the production of it and nickel increasing at an explosive rate as it gets closer to the sun. The intensity growing tenfold every step closer it moves in a pattern that defies explanation.
The anomalies have scientists scrambling for explanations, with the Atlas team in Rio Hurtado, Chile, discovering it is shedding material in ways that defy all the rules of comet behaviour... instead of the typical dust and ice mixture, the object appears to be producing bright icy grains that scatter light in totally unexpected patterns. Recent Hubble Space Telescope images show material flowing towards the sun rather than away from it, the opposite of normal cometary physics.
But perhaps even more intriguing is Atlas’ hyperbolic trajectory which takes it almost straight through our solar system, in the opposite direction to the planets, along a retrograde orbit that will see it pass just 28 million km from Mars on 3 October then to within 210 million km of the sun at the end of the month. Its path then takes it closest to Earth around 19 December and on towards a 54 million km flyby of Jupiter in March next year, after which it will leave our solar system the following month.
Before developing a fluorescent green tail as it moved closer to the sun, Atlas had originally appeared with a reddish hue that brought to mind the Hopi prophecy of the red kachina that warns of “purification time” on Earth, with subsequent analogies drawn with the arrival of Planet X, aka Nibiru, in the inner solar system. The proliferation of comets hurtling through the cosmos this year also broadly coalesces with this prophecy and adds further colour to the canvas.
The timeline from October, through November, and into early December when Atlas is obscured by the sun provides yet more intrigue, giving rise to a strange coincidence that means any late changes to the comet’s composition or trajectory would be undetectable from the Earth until directly before its closest proximity to our planet.
The culmination of all these anomalies relating to 3I/Atlas has certainly got the scientific world puzzled, with eminent Harvard University astrophysicist Avi Loeb even speculating if it could have been sent by an extraterrestrial civilisation to monitor our planet.
In a controversial paper released in July, the Israeli scientist and two Harvard colleagues suggested Atlas could be a probe navigating its way through our solar system, a scenario that fuelled widespread discussion within the broader scientific community with some researchers noting many of mankind’s deep-space probes already explore the cosmos on interstellar trajectories that will see them drift through the universe over the next tens of thousands of years.
So, does the notion of an advanced extraterrestrial civilisation employing similar technology to wander through our solar system really seem that far-fetched? And, what further surprises might unfold as 3I/Atlas draws nearer to our planet in the run-up to Christmas?
Well, no matter what unfolds in the weeks ahead, one thing is certain... speculation about 3I/Atlas and the “Buga sphere” is certainly ramping up and diverting attention away from our planet's more immediate issues such as the genocide being carried in Gaza by Benjamin Netanyahu's Zionist regime in Israel.
So perhaps it's all just a Loeb-supported distraction to take the flak off the warmongers in Jerusalem, Washington and London while they develop their strategy for a “new world order” away from the spotlight and free of public attention? It seems only time will tell!
