One sunny afternoon, Helen, Troy, and Findma decided to go for a walk in the forest near their village. The air was fresh, and the trees looked tall and green. They loved exploring nature, and today, they wanted to see what was deeper in the forest. They packed some sandwiches and drinks in a bag, and off they went, laughing and chatting along the way. At first, the walk was easy. They followed a narrow path, enjoying the sound of birds singing and the rustling of leaves. They took pictures of the trees and the flowers they saw, and sometimes, they stopped to sit on rocks and talk. After a while, they reached a part of the forest they hadn’t seen before. The trees were thicker here, and the path seemed to disappear.
Helen, who always liked to lead the way, suggested, “Let’s go a little further. We can find something cool!”
Troy and Findma agreed, so they continued walking. The deeper they went, the quieter it got. The birds stopped singing, and the air felt cooler. Soon, they couldn’t see the path they had been following. They tried to find it again but couldn’t.
“Where did the path go?” Troy asked, looking around.
“I don’t know,” said Findma, her voice shaky. “I think we might be lost.”
Helen tried to stay calm. “It’s okay. Let’s just walk in one direction and see if we can find the way back.”
But no matter how much they walked, the forest seemed to be getting bigger and bigger, and the trees more confusing. The sun started to go down, and the forest became darker. Helen, Troy, and Findma felt a little scared.

They decided to stop and rest for a moment. Findma opened the bag, and they shared the sandwiches. It wasn’t much, but it helped them feel better. They could hear the wind blowing through the trees, and every so often, the sound of an animal moving through the underbrush. It made them feel even more alone.
Helen looked at Troy and Findma. “We need to find a way out. Maybe we can climb a tree and see where we are.”
Troy, being the tallest, climbed up a big tree. He looked around, but all he could see were more trees, stretching far into the distance. It seemed like they were surrounded by a sea of green.
“I can’t see the village,” Troy called down. “We’re definitely lost.”
Helen and Findma looked at each other, worried. The darkness was starting to fall completely, and they knew they couldn’t stay out in the forest overnight. They needed a plan.
“Let’s follow the sound of water,” Helen said. “Rivers usually lead to villages or roads.”
The three friends stood up and started walking in the direction where they thought they might hear water. After a while, they finally heard the soft sound of a stream. They hurried towards
As they followed the stream, the forest slowly started to look more familiar. They could see patches of sunlight breaking through the trees. Then, to their relief, they found a small clearing, and beyond that, the edge of the forest. They could see the road leading back to their village.
“We did it!” Findma shouted, jumping up and down.
Helen took a deep breath“We made i t. We need to be more careful next time.”
The three friends walked quickly back home, gratefully to be out of the forest. They were tired never they went for a walk in the forest, they stayed on the path and made sure to always stick together
