Unleash you imagination and set it free.
Everything I create starts with one simple idea and always ends up taking on a life of its own. I have many hobbies that bring me great satisfaction, but I am the happiest when I can take a plain shelf sized piece of wood plain or stained (makes no difference.) Then get out my scissors and my glue gun and let my imagination take off running.

Why Are Cities Unhealthy? Poor Biodiversity
EVEN ON A BLUSTERY winter’s afternoon, Mount Lofty flaunts its splendour as a bushland oasis, one of the last vestiges of the original forests and woodlands that once dotted the Adelaide Plains of South Australia. As you meander down the narrow tracks from the summit, you feel invigorated by the scenery, the silence, and the smell of wet earth after a light shower. To a city dweller like me, the air itself seems therapeutic.

Listening to the Earth - creating our reality
Eight years ago we began a journey of following intuition. As artists, a creative outlet has always been present in our lives, but after a big move closer to our home town with no solid jobs lined up, we turned to nature to help alleviate the stress and anxiety that came with feeling "irresponsible". We are a couple, we're best friends, and we're a team, we always have been. Each time the stress creeped up on us, we found extreme relief hiking deep into the forest behind our house. The scenery, the fresh air, everything about the forest was really what we needed at the time.

Beading with recycled and single-use plastics
BEADING Beading is the act of threading one object to another object. The rich history of beading utilises many materials allowing beads to take many different forms. The only necessary quality, that is required for an object to be considered a bead, is its ability to be thread therefore requiring a hole that pierces through the object (from front to back or left to right).

Birds: The White Sea Eagles of Parramatta
Unsplash - Joshua Hoehne And so the devastation of life on earth continues, but this time it is the avian life form that seeks the limelight in the worst possible way. I read the article “Who is saving the great birds of Sydney” by John Huxley in Saturdays’ newspaper “The Sydney Morning Herald” dated Saturday, March 14–15 2009.

No End to ideas !
It all starts with a pair of scissors, and in most cases, sometimes ends with a final snip. Then comes an idea. Sometimes from being inspired by a photo, product or experience. I am the person who says, “I could make that...” then takes it to the the next level by figuring out not only how to make it, but uniquely mine. My home and walls are filled with my art!
