The Noor Mahal (Urdu: نور محل) is a Pakistan Army-owned palace in Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan. It was built in 1872 like an Italian chateau on neoclassical lines, at a time when modernism had set in. It belonged to the Nawabs of Bahawalpur princely state, during British Raj.

The story of Noor Mahal begins with the reign of Nawab Sadiq Muhammad Khan IV, the ruler of the princely state of Bahawalpur. Nawab Sadiq Muhammad Khan IV was a visionary leader who had a deep appreciation for art, architecture, and culture. Inspired by the opulent palaces he had seen during his travels, he decided to construct a grand palace for his wife, Maharani Noor Bakht Begum.

The construction of Noor Mahal began in 1872 and took several years to complete. The nawab enlisted the services of a British architect, Mr. Heennan, to design the palace. The architectural style of Noor Mahal is a unique blend of neoclassical and Italianate influences, with elements of Islamic and British colonial architecture.

The Nawab was used to occasionally conduct cabinet sessions in Noor Mahal when he was in power
