Today i heard the song of life ...again

That voice of small beings in nature

Announcing their presence

Yeah that's true..I heard that all..again

Today i felt the beauty of nature..again

That first blow of wind..

That was welcoming me.

That flock of bird that flew over my head

I felt were asking me to join them.

The green plants around..

Were thanking me.

Don't you know why??

Let me tell you..

That's because we haven't done anything

We haven't cut any tree

We haven’t hurt anybody

We haven't destroyed any water body

We haven't committed any crime

We haven't switched onn our automobile

All this,

not by ourselves but,

Nature forced us to do,

Its not a virus.its karma.

Its good or bad ..the debate is still on..

Bad for the ones suffering..

Good for the ones who r getting their life back..NATURE, THE EARTH

It wanted space , it wanted time

TO HEEL,TO LIVE ..ALL OVER AGAIN

This was the piece that I wrote during lockdown time. Although I’m Not a person of few words but I tried my best to keep the piece short while trying to embed all my thoughts in it.

The lockdown came as such an eye opener for me. It taught me so many things and not just me there were many others who learnt a lot from that time.

I know there are scientific explanation to what caused covid virus and how it spread but apart from these reasons what I consider also as an important aspect was that nature itself needed some break. And it got it too.

It’s my humble opinion that The time of lockdown was much needed by the mother earth to heal. To heal the wounds given by none other than humans. The same humans who refers nature as it’s mother.

Unknowingly we have caused a lot of damage to ecosystem. All we did was forcing the other natural habitats to a limited area. The nature didn’t take much time to turn the tables and lock the humans in their houses. All these years We have continuously..actually I would say recklessly used the gifts given to us by nature.

Yes all this came with a heavy and brutal cost in disguise of a virus. Also The world came to a halt. The economy crashed and what not. But the world changed..it changed for good.

The first change that came to my notice was when I heard the news of return of Ganges dolphins in the river Yamuna. Never since my birth I have heard the sighting of dolphins in that river. It was all because due to least human interactions the river quality improved and the dolphins returned.

The pictures were so overwhelming. I have never seen river Yamuna this clean. All these years I have always seen it being cover with thick white poisonous layer of waste..that’s it. Leave aside aquatic animals even humans refrained from using that water.

This was the positive change I was talking about. Yes it was a dark phase for human being but it was also a ray of hope for the animals and creatures around us who can not take a stand for themselves.

I heard voices of bird never seen before in my area. It was indeed overwhelming. The earth was living again. It was enjoying the time with least interference of humans.

The nature is strong..it’s might can never be tested. We must understand this small thing. We should learn to coexist..something that humans only pretend to understand.

The day humans actually figured out how to coexist without damaging the habitats of other beings, without hurting nature…the earth would become a better place to live in.

I have seen the change, I have seen people getting aware of their role in ecosystem. And what makes me happiest is small initiatives being taken up at homes by everyone.

One step at a time and we’ll be able to live in a world where no animal race would come to an end because of poaching and extensive killing.

All I dream of is that the awareness keeps on increasing and humans put more efforts in preserving what we have today with us.

WE SHALL LEARN TO RESPECT NATURE..

WE SHALL GIVE IT THE SPACE AND TIME IT NEEDS..

OTHERWISE IT’S CAPABLE OF TAKE IT ON "HER OWN"..
