hey friends we all are familiar with air pollution ,water ,soil, noise but many of us are unaware about light pollution.
According to dark sky international light pollution is human made alteration of outdoor light levels from those occurring naturally , and it has major bad impacts on our entire ecosystem, vis migratory birds ,nocturnal animals ,mammals, pollinators, marine species ,hampered reproductory activity of many species including humans but unlike other pollution ,light pollution can be reversed with our combined efforts.
i will surely talk about light pollution in my further articles but now I want to curb your attention towards India's effort in checking light pollution by establishing hanle dark sky reserve in ladakh.
