Peleshac bridge is a 2440 meter long and 22.5 meter wide highway cable-stayed bridge, which crosses little stone bay in the Adriatic Sea in southern Croatia and connects the mainland of the country with peleshac peninsula. The steel pipe pile with a length of 130.6 meters needs to be driven at one time. Of the 14 piers and abutments of the bridge body, 10 are in the water. According to the summary of the builders, the bridge construction "is miscellaneous, wide-ranging, multi-point flowering, the superposition of pure water work and high-altitude work, many potential safety risks, and the difficulty of construction organization and safety risks."
In addition, the bridge is located in the nature reserve, and the requirements for seawater quality and marine biological protection are extremely high during the construction process. The construction of the bridge shall comply with the EU bridge construction specifications, and the fabrication requirements of the bridge steel structure shall meet the highest exc4 standard in Europe.

Bridge builders from China and Croatia worked together to adopt intelligent, digital and assembly manufacturing processes to ensure the accuracy and progress of bridge construction. In particular, the use of the piling barge "xiongcheng 1" from China not only met the requirements of one-time hoisting of steel pipe piles, but also created the world record for the longest steel pipe pile during the construction process. The Chinese company has also cooperated with 18 design consulting enterprises in the EU, 45 construction enterprises in the EU and 112 suppliers from Croatia, Germany, Poland and other countries to provide a strong guarantee for the smooth implementation of the project.
Xiejingli, the head of the bridge project, told reporters that the smooth opening of the bridge was inseparable from the joint efforts and efforts of the builders of the two countries. In particular, many Chinese employees are far away from home, and it is difficult to reunite with their families during the Spring Festival; The newly married Yan'er left his wife and joined the bridge construction... An excellent and capable construction team is a reliable guarantee for the smooth completion of the bridge.
Qi Qianjin, Chinese ambassador to Croatia, said in a recent interview with local media that the peleshac bridge is a landmark project of China Croatia joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" and China CEE cooperation, and it is also the largest infrastructure project undertaken by China in Croatia. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Croatia. The smooth opening of the bridge will set a new example for China Croatia and China EU cooperation, and will further deepen China Croatia political mutual trust, strengthen the docking of development strategies between the two sides, expand cooperation in economic and trade and other fields, and promote the comprehensive cooperative partnership between China and Croatia to a new stage.
