chemicals and toxic

Pesticides:

Pesticide use is widespread among both cannabis growers and consumers alike. These chemicals are not only toxic, they are expensive and require constant reapplication throughout the growing season. Pesticides have become a big issue in recent years, especially with the increase in indoor cultivation practices.

Fungicides:

Fungicide use is prevalent in today's marijuana industry. As fungal infections continue to grow increasingly difficult to manage, fungicides are being overused at higher dosages than before. A side effect of these increased doses includes negative impacts on human health. In addition to potentially harmful effects, fungicides take time to break down after application, meaning that residues remain in the soil for extended periods of time.

Herbicides:

Herbicides are often used to clear space for planting crops. There are many herbicides on the market, and some are much safer than others. Before choosing any type of pesticide, make sure you know their chemical formula, purpose, and any potential risks associated with their usage.

Insecticides?

Insecticides are commonly used to treat bugs that could potentially harm or kill your growing plants. However, insecticides pose a risk to humans who may be exposed to them through inhalation or ingestion.

Fertilizers:

There are many different types of fertilizer products available. Some are designed specifically for indoor crop production, while others claim to be effective for indoor and outdoor growing. Make sure to do your research on what works best for your environment and needs.

Glyphosate:

The active ingredient in Roundup is glyphosate, and its approval as a safe food additive was revoked by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2015. Glyphosate has been linked to cancer, birth defects, reproductive problems, hormone disruption, Alzheimer’s disease, and more. It appears that Roundup is not just dangerous to your own body, but to the planet, too.

Solvent Based Cleaning Products:

Solvents are used extensively in todays marijuana industry. From drying buds to extracting resins, solvents are used in numerous processes. Unfortunately, solvent-based cleaning products are no longer considered environmentally friendly. Their toxic nature makes them hazardous to human health, and their high volatility makes them extremely flammable.

Pesticides:

Pesticides were created to kill insects, bugs, and weeds in order to maintain a healthy environment for crops. However, pesticides are not only harmful to humans and animals, they are also toxic towards plants. Many people believe that using pesticides is a way to save time and money, however, these chemicals have side effects that are often overlooked. In addition, many pesticides do not work well, and therefore may need to be applied frequently. Overuse of pesticide can lead to the increase of pests throughout the area.

Fertilizer:

Fertilizer is a substance that contains all the necessary nutrients needed for a plant to grow normally. There are two types of fertilizer: organic and chemical. The benefits of organic fertilizer include the capability of providing nutrients without causing harm to humans and the environment. Chemical fertilizers can also be bad for human health if consumed.

Herbicides:

Herbicide is a type of pesticide that kills unwanted vegetation in order to keep things clean and safe. These herbicides are categorized based on their efficiency and how long they remain active. Herbicides are either systemic, which means that the herbicide passes through the plant's cells to make sure that all parts receive it, or contact, where the herbicide comes in direct contact with the plant.

Fungicides:

Like fungicides, insecticides are designed to kill insects. Fungi is a group of organisms that includes mushrooms and molds. A fungus can be either parasitic (attacking its host) or symbiotic (living together). Insecticides help prevent disease and infestation of crops by killing off insects before they cause damage.

Weed killer:

Weed killers are typically used in conjunction with other pesticide sprays. When you apply weed killer, you will use a sprayer that spreads the weed killer over a wide area. Once the weed killer hits the ground, it will get absorbed by the roots of the plant. If the weed is below the surface, the weed killer will work quicker because it is closer to the root system.

Acids:

Acids are considered to be acidic compounds. Acids play a role in the decomposition of dead matter. There are five different kinds of acids including mineral acids, organic acids, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, and nitric acid.

Hydrofluoric Acid:

Hydrofluoric acid is a colorless liquid at room temperature. It is extremely corrosive and flammable. Hydrofluoric acid is used to remove paint from objects or to etch glassware.
