A Humble Request From Earth

I will save you from the corona.

Earth is a beautiful place to be handed over to our next generations

Recently I read the news here and there saying that India lacks more Oxygen. People dying without Oxygen, struggling to buy large and small oxygen cylinders in a massive queue.

My mind was shattered. I have never seen such photos or videos with oxygen cylinders before, even during corona epidemics in Italy and other countries.

Now, to save people, some medical college students in India have arranged busses and three wheels with oxygen cylinders.

I saw a picture of many people being treated with attached oxygen cylinders while sitting in ordinary chairs.

What atrocity is this?. Are we not breathing enough Oxygen? I started to think deeply about this. My thinking was further heightened when I saw a meme that said, “Ten years ago, when bottled water was sold, no one cared about the future.

Now that future is the present. Now we buy the oxygen packet.”

In this infectious situation, many corporations sell Oxygen and make huge profits. Yes. We have been pushed to a decisive stage in our lives.

Do We Not Have Oxygen in the Atmosphere?

You know that air contains nearly 20% oxygen with 78% nitrogen and other molecules. You breathe air and inhale a portion of Oxygen, releasing other unwanted molecules and the rest of the Oxygen.

Not only you. Everyone is breathing. In total, 7.9 billion humans, live with all other oxygen-breathing organisms.

A man breathes about 9.5 tons of air a year, but our body absorbs only a third of the 20 percent of its Oxygen. This is 740 kg per year, approximately the amount released by seven or eight trees per year.

A tree produces an average of 90–120 kg oxygen per year. There are an estimated 3.04 trillion trees, according to published studies.

Did you know? We cut down 15.3 billion trees every year. In the last 12,000 years, the world has lost 46% of its trees.

7.9 billion people need 5.846 trillion kilograms of Oxygen a year. Human growth is estimated at 1.1%. But we reduce 1.53 trillion kilos of Oxygen by cutting down 15.3 billion trees each year.

If this continues, it is sure that the earth will fail to produce enough Oxygen to supply humans one day.

What I have explained above is a global explanation. In recent years you may have heard the name Air Quality Index.

Some cities in South Asia recorded very low air quality. For example, Delhi in India. It was hit by severe air pollution in November 2019. The administration advised people to wear masks to avoid inhaling harmful fumes to prevent lung problems.

If we breathe that low-quality air, the oxygen content will be low anyway, or the air may be substandard to breathe. What I explained earlier is not the future again. That is the present situation.

The trees in Delhi are not big enough to produce the Oxygen the city needs. You should have realized it by now.

What Has COVID-19 Got to Do With It?

I have heard before that bats have Coronavirus. It is said that an animal ate it and that the Coronavirus somehow spread among us.

In my opinion, if all of its molecules in the air are at an acceptable ratio, especially Oxygen, humans can survive by fighting all the harmful substances present in the air.

I observe a massive change in the strength of the Coronavirus. Adapts itself efficiently during different climates and other different conditions.

Differences in the ratio of molecules in the atmosphere or lack of Oxygen can improve the virus’s ability to fight with humans and viability.

I imagine. The truth is, we are the only reason for the survival of Coronavirus. So those coronavirus particles fight with humans. As a result, humans struggle for more Oxygen. Unfortunately, Oxygen is low in the air. Sorry, we reduced it. Then how can humans fight against the virus?

No Need for an Intermediate Solution. Need Immediate Solution

We reduced the natural production of Oxygen by cutting down trees and deforestation. Now, we produce synthetic Oxygen and import it from other countries. We wait with cylinders and bags of Oxygen.

Many people think in many countries that development is a modernized lifestyle. No matter what we do, we must have the means to save the earth for the future.

Otherwise, it is my humble opinion that it is not appropriate to call it growth.

Do not think that it is too late. Do your best to protect this earth. Promote the natural balance of the atmosphere to save the earth for the future.
