The lost city

The forgotten legacy

Here's a poem about the lost city:

In twilight's hush, where ancient secrets sleep,

A hidden metropolis, mysteries to keep.

The lost city's grandeur, veiled from sight,

Lies shrouded, guarded by the endless night.

Its crumbling spires, once reaching for the sky,

Now reclaimed by jungle, passersby.

The whispers of a long-forgotten past,

Echo through ruins, forever to last.

In streets of stone, where dust devils play,

The ghosts of civilizations fade away.

The city's heartbeat, silenced and still,

A testament to time's relentless will.

Yet, legends linger, tales of old,

Of treasures hidden, stories untold.

A siren's call, beckoning hearts to roam,

To unearth the secrets of the lost city's home.

Through vines and rubble, adventurers stray,

Seeking answers to the city's faded day.

And when the moon casts shadows deep,

The lost city stirs, its mysteries to keep.

Would you like me to revise the poem or write another one on the same theme?
