Food, glorious food! as the old saying goes from the Dicken's novel 'Oliver Twist'. 'Ming Ming's Foodie Adventure' was written by Eloise Richer and illustrated by Dotty Albro. This is a story all about a young red panda and his search for his favorite food. Ming Ming, the red panda lives in a zoo where the zookeepers are not sure what to feed him. Ming Ming goes through the zoo in search of his favorite snack and then out the gate.

Eloise has written a story chalk full of adventure and fun and lessons for a child to learn lessons on nutrition to geography to even government. Dotty illustrated this picture book by using primary and secondary colors to show texture in the way Ming Ming lives. Teachers can ask many questions like 'What is your favorite food? and show other country's flags as a geography and social studies lesson. There could also be a lesson on types of foods from 'tortilla's', 'tapes'; to 'churro's, as well as lesson on the other types of animals in the zoo and their favorite foods.
