Man On The Inside

A Short Critique

Introduction

I was watching Netflix, and series 2 of this came up as a recommendation. I was unaware of this, but it had Ted Danson in it, so I thought I would check it out.

This Is What I Found

I love it and am now on season two. Charles' daughter wants him to find a challenge and get him out of the house.

Two years ago, he lost his wife after she had suffered from aggressive Alzheimer's, and his challenge is as an inside mine in a nursing home where a theft has taken place.

Alzheimer's is addressed a lot throughout the series, but is done sensitively, and there are a lot of fun moments and deep observations about getting older, and like it or not, we are all getting older.

I am not going to see what happens, but there are lots of lovely moments, although some scenes are just a little challenging, but address very important issues.

Conclusion

I thoroughly enjoyed series one and am now well into series two. If you have the option, check it out. You might be as pleasantly surprised as I was.
