I am a person who likes reading classic novels. Here is one that I read entitled 'Little Dorrit' by Charles Dickens. This is quite the thick book even in paperback, but to me it is worth the read. It is about a young girl who lives with her father with many questions that seems to have no answers but they both go on a journey to seek answers to how they are living their lives. Do they find their answers?

The Shining
I am not sure I may have wrote a review here a long time ago for 'The Shining' written by Stephen King, but not sure. 'The Shining' is a thriller/horror novel that involves a family of a husband/father, young son, and wife/mother living and working at a very mysterious hotel that was and is famous. I like reading thriller/horror books, but for some reason I do not like watching them and I have seen this particular on television. My favorite parts of the book were when the son would play outside in the gardens and when it seemed that they would go back in time in a way in various parts of the book. To me it was quite the page turner. Believe it or not I read this book in two days.

What is so damaging to this current culture is the ant-intellectualism which pervades nearly every element of it. Clavicular, real name, Braden Peters equivocates physical form with getting women, making money, and overall being a strong “man.”

I love any and every thing penned by Charles Dickens, especially A Tale of Two Cities, A Christmas Carol, and David Copperfield. Little Dorrit is probably my next favorite.
