Ideas vs Ideology
Maybe we should plant more trees in the city.

Politics now? A circus show,
Where truth and tweets together go.
Leaders bicker, bold and loud,
Each one trying to please the crowd.
One side shouts, “We need more rights!”
The other picks a dozen fights.
Elections come with memes and flair,
While real news vanishes in air.
Deals are made behind closed doors,
While we just scroll through party wars.
“Democracy!” they proudly claim,
Then play the same old power game.
Corruption dances, justice sleeps,
While public trust no longer leaps.
But hey, at least we’re all aware—
Thanks to that thread on X (formerly Twitter), somewhere!

This poem really nails it. It's so true how politics has become this chaotic circus. The bickering between leaders is ridiculous, and the way real news gets drowned out is concerning. It makes you wonder if there's any hope for things to change. And that part about corruption dancing while justice sleeps hits home. Do you think there's a way to break this cycle and get back to a more honest and functional political system?
