I Contacted My Spirit Guide
The mirror was so old, as soon as this shape showed itself, the glass shattered into a million and one pieces.Show me my guide, I asked. As soon as she appeared, it was like a gun had gone off, yet there was no glass in my lounge. No, the shattered bit all fell into the mirror. I could see each piece, yet the mirror wasn’t broken? Why? How?
Then she spoke. Her smile soothed as she said, I am here, as always, holding your hand. Do you understand? You will rise above a shattered heart and come back from all illusions.
Trust me. Now you know my face, call me and I will appear in your mind. You are strong and capable of winning. I will always steer you into light, there will be no darkness.
However, you will have and need to work with me. Have no fear. I am your guide and I bring peace, love and sunshine to your darkest days.The face went. The mirror still showed no sign of being broken. It shows this was a lesson of trues and knowledge. I am in touch with my higher self

Often these entities dole out consequences to parties that are not causing a problem, and give a blind eye to serious problems.

This is some pretty trippy stuff. The idea of a spirit guide showing up like that is wild. I've never had an experience like that, but it makes me wonder how one would even go about contacting their spirit guide. Do you think it takes a certain state of mind or is it more about just asking? And what does it really mean to be in touch with your higher self?
