I Can't Speak Out Loud
I have a story I can’t bring myself to speak about. Is it fear? Or am I just too weak?
Everyone has a dark side, hidden stories that no one knows about.
Maybe, until now, you haven’t been able to share yours. The dark side doesn’t mean something bad; it’s simply the part of us that remains unseen, still in the dark, unnoticed by anyone.
Maybe you’re afraid of people knowing your secrets, or you care too much about their judgment.
Sometimes, we stay silent simply because we can’t speak right now. We know that once we start talking, we’ll remember everything—the events, and even worse, the emotions, the hurt—and it might feel painful all over again.
And that’s okay. It’s okay to feel this way, to not be ready to talk yet. Don’t overthink it, and don’t treat it as a sign of weakness.
Don’t force yourself or try to gather the courage to talk. The point isn’t whether you can speak about it now or not—no one shares their hidden stories just because they want to.
People start talking because the inner change makes them speak out. This change is what makes the difference.
It’s all about when inner change happens.
When it happens, these stories transform into sources of strength and growth. That’s when the equation truly changes—we begin to speak about them freely, with ease, without fear, without worrying nor the burden of pain.
Sometimes, this change feels like a storm—painful yet powerful—sweeping everything away to rebuild from scratch.
Do you remember the story you hid when you were a child? Now, you can speak about it freely, maybe even laugh as you recall it. It’s the same here.
When your inner change happens, you’ll speak loudly, not because you need to, but because the weight it once held will vanish. By then, you won’t care whether you speak or stay silent.
A storm has passed, leaving behind calm and something entirely new—as if the story has rewritten itself, the same events retold but with different feelings, and most importantly: without pain, without fear.
It’s a transformation that changes you. And when it’s over, you’ll look back and see that what once held you down is now nothing but a distant memory. You’ll speak freely, not because you need to, but because it simply no longer matters.
