Laurie Moore-Moore has written an adult historical fiction novel entitled 'Gone to Dallas: The Storekeeper 1856-1861. 'Gone to Dallas: The Storekeeper' will give the reader a voyage back in time to see how things were different, but yet the same. This is the story of a woman named Sara and her voyage by wagon train at the time right before the Civil War or the War Between the States at the start of what will become a major city in the future. Sara is a storekeeper that has many decisions to make in dealing with all the different relationships that affect her life and living the way she wants. Laurie Moore-Moore wrote the novel for adults and even for young adults who like American history and relationships. From the scenes of the wagon train voyage to the building of her first store to the beginnings of a town of log buildings to a city that will become a major metropolis. Laurie as well as Sara has described the era and the life of a growing time for all of us.
