Blank Fate

“Do you dance?”

“Not if I can help it,” She says as she takes his hand and they attempt to slow dance. All that can be heard is the sound of the notes floating through the air from the song, “I’ve Got You Under My Skin.” The sultry heat adds to the moment, as she looks down at her wrist. The space is still blank, she glances at his wrist and finds that his wrist is also blank. They both don’t have soulmates; together.
