August 15th

By Katherine D. GrahamPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Orthodox communities commemorate the Dormition, when Christ’s mother awakens from sleep. Ancient Egyptians celebrated the rising of Sirius, which brilliantly shines as a jewel on Isis.
