Unsolved mystery of JonBenet Ramsey
Mysterious murder of pagent queen

When it comes to crime and true crime at that I have always been a massive nerd and have always been interested on what exactly goes through the people that cause these crimes brains. In fact I have always been so into true crime and peoples brains I recieved a double major in both psychology and criminal justice. The story that has always had me obssessed is the mysterious death of the child beauty queen-JonBenet Ramsey.
JON BENET RAMSEY
The first case that I have been attached to since I first heard about it in my early teenage years is the case of young pagent queen jon benet ramsey. This case occurred in 1996 in boulder colorodo. Jon benet ramsey born on August 6, 1990 was murdered in her home on christmas day at the age of six. She was originally reported missing but seven hours later her body was found in their basement. When they found the body of JonBenet her autopsy found that her cause of death "asphyxia by strangulation associated with craniocerebral trauma".
Evidence
When looking at any true crime case the most important thing to examine that could possibly lead to an explanation is the evidence a case shows.
The ransom note

The ransom note was the main form of evidence that was discovered. JonBenets mother made a statement to authorities on December 26, that she realized her daughter was missing after find the above ransom note. The wierd part about this ramson note is unlike most ransom notes that are found outside the residence or in a mailbox this note was found inside the ramseys house on their staircase. Another odd thing about this note was the money requested (118,000) was almost identical to mr. ramseys christmas bonus. Mr. Ramsey originally thought it had to be someone who had access to the information about his pay, their also was a theory that is was correlated with psalm 118 which states "The Lord is God, and he has made his light shine upon us. With boughs in hand, bind the festal sacrifice with ropes to the horns of the altar". The other reason this note was considered to be so strange is the fact someone would of had to either a. sneak into the house which would be very difficult because the wife was their or b. It was written in the house itself which is even more strange.
Blood sample
The other form of evidence discovered was the blood that was found on JonBenet's underwear. That blood was discovered to be from an unknown male but was discovered to exclude the ramseys. Another wierd thing about this DNA evidence is it was submitted to the FBI's Database and it was not matching anyone in their database. However in 2016 a new report showed that their were genetic marks from two differant individuals.
Investigation and Theorys
The investigation in the end showed that it was a homicide however their was no telling who caused the murder. Their was two theorys however of what possibly could have happened. These theories are the familial standpoint and the intruder standpoint.
Familial theory
The familial standpoint is just as it sounds the idea that one of JonBenets family members killed her. The idea is that her brother might have accident killed her and to cover it up Patsy wrote the 'letter'. The reason behind this is as stated above its a tad bit strange to think or believe that somebody would break into the house murder JonBenet and leave a letter.
Intruder theory
The other theory that an intruder caused this. The main reason they think of an intruder is because of the boot print that was found on the basement floor. The reason behind this theory is the fact that JonBenet was a beauty queen and possibly could have had a stalker that became obsessed with her. The stranger could have seen her as a sex object and got mad that they could not have her so thought the famous "If I can't have you know one can"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When looking at this case I personally don't know what exactly to think however my brain is more keen on the familial theory due to the idea that I can't imagine someone breaking into a house killing someone leaving coming back writing a letter at a table and leaving it inside the house but anything is possible I guess.
