Since August 20, 2007, at least 20 detached human feet have been found on the coasts of the Salish Sea in British Columbia, Canada, and Washington, US. The first discovery, on August 20, 2007, was on Jedediah Island in British Columbia. Feet have been discovered on the coasts of islands in British Columbia, and in the US cities of Tacoma and Seattle.

In Canada, the B.C. Coroners Service said in December 2017 that foul play had been ruled out by authorities in all investigations and that the feet came from people who died either in accidents or by suicide, and the feet detached during the normal decomposition process. The feet were usually found in sneakers, which the coroner thought were responsible for both keeping the feet buoyant enough to eventually wash ashore, and for giving the feet enough protection from decomposition to be found relatively intact.[1] Prior to the recent seeming rush of feet washing ashore, there have been earlier instances going back more than a century, such as a leg in a boot that was found on a Vancouver beach in 1887.[2] The most recent discovery was on January 1, 2019, when people on Jetty Island in Everett, Washington called police to report a boot with a human foot inside, which the coroner was able to match to Antonio Neill, who was missing since December 12, 2016

My Story- Once upon a time,in the small town of Westville there was an unsolved mystery that had everyone on the edge of their seats. It all began on a warm summer morning. While most people in town were waking up to begin their day, something far more sinister was beginning to unfold.

The town had been discussing the strange happenings for weeks; however, it wasn't until that morning that the residents of Westville realized something strange was going on. The newspaper reported the discovery of a severed human foot washed up on shore. The entire town was abuzz with excitement, shock, and fear.

The police began an investigation to try and identify the victim the foot belonged to but to no avail. The few clues they had were not helpful and they could not find any evidence or leads that could point them in the right direction. The only thing they could link the severed foot to was a strange symbol that seemed to have been carved into the flesh. It was a circle surrounded by 8 angled lines, like the spokes of a wheel. The police could not decipher the meaning of the symbol or its relation to the severed foot.

The strange symbol and the panicked community of Westville were the only two things that could link the foot to something else. Every day, more feet were found washed up on shore. It was beginning to seem like this was the work of some kind of serial killer. No one knew who the killer was or what their motive was for collecting the feet, but one thing was for sure; this person was playing a game with the residents of Westville and no one knew what their next move would be.

Everyone in town had theories about who the killer was and what their motive was, but no one had any proof. The police were beginning to lose hope and the citizens were starting to worry. It seemed like the killer was toying with the people of Westville and they had no way to protect themselves.

The search for the killer went on for weeks with no progress. The police had very few leads, the symbol was still a mystery, and no one seemed able to identify the killer. The people of Westville began to lose hope until one day a mysterious figure was spotted at the beach.

The figure seemed to be searching the beach for something, but they didn't seem to find it. When the police arrived, the figure had vanished. The only thing they could find was a strange symbol etched onto the sand.

The symbol was the same one that had been linked to the feet that had been found on the beach. It seemed like the killer had been there, but who were they and what were they looking for?

The police began to watch the beach for any more sightings of the mysterious figure but there were none. Meanwhile, more and more feet were washing up on shore. This made the townspeople more anxious and confused than ever.

Finally, after weeks of searching and investigating, the police were able to make an arrest. It was the mysterious figure from the beach. When they were brought in for questioning they revealed a shocking secret.

The killer had been collecting the feet to create some sort of macabre art display. They had been obsessively carving the strange symbol onto the flesh of the feet to make them look like a morbidly beautiful sculpture. The people of Westville were relieved but also horrified.

The mystery of The Severed Feet Mystery was solved, but the fear and terror it had created would linger on in the minds of the people of Westville for a long time to come.
