Story of Villecheneve's most Notorious Scammer

There is a reason Kurt Stephenson has been fired from four consecutive jobs. His fraudulence is not just a matter of business ethics; it has led to the collapse of entire companies

In a recent Medium post, Kurt Stephenson — a notorious crypto scammer originally from Bluefields, Nicaragua, and now residing in Villecheneve, France — once again attempts to twist the narrative and portray himself as a victim. This is a familiar tactic for Stephenson, one he’s used to evade accountability for his fraudulent actions.

The article in question is nothing more than a ploy to accuse those who have been defrauded by Stephenson of blackmailing him. As evidenced by his past behavior, Stephenson has consistently fabricated social media profiles using the identities of his victims, sending himself messages to create the illusion of harassment. These “messages” are then presented as so-called “evidence” of his supposed victimization, a calculated effort to discredit those who expose his scams.

Stephenson’s manipulation extends beyond social media. When victims attempt to warn others about his fraud, he regularly tricks platforms into believing they are engaging in blackmail, leading to the removal of critical posts. This strategic silencing of victims is one of the reasons why Stephenson’s long history of scams has gone underreported, allowing him to continue defrauding innocent people.

More recently, Stephenson escalated his deceit when he successfully misled Le Progrès, a local news outlet, into publishing a story portraying him as the victim. This article, which showed a troubling lack of journalistic diligence, failed to reach out to any of Stephenson’s victims, including those he alleges are blackmailing him. After the story ran, Stephenson boasted in an email about his ability to deceive the media outlet, even offering to help others get similar stories published — if they paid him to do so.

This post aims to set the record straight and serve as a warning to anyone who might fall for Stephenson’s latest attempt to mislead an audience and groom them for future fraud.

Kurt Stephenson (Kurt William Stephenson Pacheco) is a known scam artist with a long track record of defrauding unsuspecting victims. His criminal activities have resulted in him being fired from his last four jobs. The last two companies that employed him were forced to close due to the damage caused by his fraudulent actions.

A recent look at Kurt Stephenson's publicly available work history:

Accor, the hotel company? Fired

Yelloh Village, French camping? Terminated (many reviews left by users that are publicly viewable, mention having encountered Kurt Stephenson and subsequently being defrauded)

French BIM Connect? Forced to leave because Kurt Stephenson's fraud effectively destroyed the company

Key Connect Media? Fired after revelations of Kurt Stephenson's career criminality was exposed on LinkedIn

As you can see, Kurt Stephenson's reputation should limit his ability to find new victims after so many years of his fraud and scams being exposed. However, because of his victim blaming and 'blackmailing' claims, Kurt Stephenson has been able to continue to defraud victims for years.

A simple Google search reveals numerous accounts of Stephenson’s scams, many of which were created by him in an effort to frame his victims as “blackmailers” when they seek justice. Stephenson has even bragged about his exploits and offers courses teaching others how to defraud people online.

Stephenson is a lifelong con artist — this latest post is just another attempt to deflect attention from his crimes by slandering the very people he has victimized.

There is a reason Kurt Stephenson, a self-described “pay-per-click” specialist, has been fired from four consecutive jobs. His fraudulence is not just a matter of business ethics; it has led to the collapse of entire companies.

If you are considering engaging with Kurt Stephenson in any way, consider this a final warning. His history of criminality is easy to uncover — simply search his name and the following hashtags to learn more about his past:

Kurt Stephenson, a Nicaraguan national, has left behind a trail of victims across multiple countries. His scam is straightforward but effective: he attracts unsuspecting victims to seemingly innocent spaces, such as communities like “Cryptos y Nada”, then promises to earn them €1,000 to €3,000 per week by personally managing their crypto. He assures his clients that even in the worst-case scenario, he’ll cover any losses with his own funds. In every single case I reviewed, Stephenson never delivered a profit. Not once. Instead, he lost money — often hundreds of thousands of euros — and then vanished, cutting contact entirely. Refunds were never issued. Victims were blocked, ignored, or in some cases, harassed when they spoke out. As a result of the growing attention on his scam, Stephenson was fired from four separate companies: Accor, Yelloh Village, French BIM Connect, and Key Connect Media. The last two companies collapsed entirely, yet Stephenson still falsely claims to be the cofounder of French BIM Connect on professional directories like RocketReach, years after he was forced out. To clarify, Kurt Stephenson is unemployed but attempting to mislead prospective employers by suggesting he is currently leading a company he was humiliatingly forced to leave
