Reason First: Who Caused Anna Kepner to Experience a Dire Fate?

On a Carnival cruise just off the Port of Florida, an eighteen-year-old young woman named Anna “Banana” Kepner sustained a brutal strangulation. She had been discovered by cleaning staff in the morning.

Found under a bed with a blanket covering her and life jackets on top of her, investigators immediately suggested that foul play had led to her nonliving situation.

They also ruled out sexual assault and rape. The step-brother, a minor, has been looked at as a key suspect in the slaying.

It appears as if everyone has to get their weight up, which is respectable. What has to be remembered is that there was a woman in the prime of her life cut down without regard.

A cheerleader at Temple Christian School in Titusville, Florida, Anna had been poised to join the military one day. Those hopes soon became dashed because of some miscreant’s vicious handiwork.

The Carnival Horizon cruise ship occupants experienced a state of emergency in the wake of Anna’s demise. The other passengers now fully know what happened to the adult teenager. With a full life ahead of her, she probably never thought she’d be at the center of an international homicide investigation.

What is curious are the life vests. How much access to passengers actually have to them? Are they readily available to just use? Why did the suspect employ them in such a manner?

Whatever the case might be, what coursed through the killer’s mind when they felt the life ease out of the woman’s body?

This all points to irrationalism at its worst. Whatever Anna had done didn’t mean it should have cost her the glorious life she led.

With the absence of reason, it is clear that such actions occur. She looked vulnerable and non imposing. She remained a threat to little. Is that why she wanted to join the United States Armed Forces? Did she want to learn tactics for self-preservation?

To know her as a cheerleader, she must’ve been agile and athletic. She could’ve definitely gotten past the running portions of physical training in whatever branch she chose. Sadly, no one will ever know.

No, the essence of non-thinking reared its ugly head once more. Most likely, 20/20 and Dateline will have picked up this story and elaborated on its grisly details.

For all the ways that Anna could have lived and enjoyed the fruits of this life, she will forever be remembered for her the way she died, sadly. In her position as a woman who just looked over the berm of living, there will be the sadness and strife that will follow in remembrance of her.

As a believer in the theory of God, Anna’s death will prompt her family to light candles and post teddy bears and notes praying for Jesus to save her mortal soul.
