Kelly and Jason Cochran

When Jason Cochran found out his wife was cheating on him, he had only one request- she must be willing to carry out the promise she made to kill anyone that would try to separate them.

He would forgive his wife of 13 years if she used the promise of sex to get her lover to come to their house and then let her jealous husband shoot the lover in the head.

Christopher Regan, who worked with Kelly Cochran and dated her, was caught by surprise and killed. He was in the middle of making love when Jason Cochran came out of the shadows and shot him in the head. Soon after, Kelly Cochran gave her husband a buzz saw so that he could cut him up.

Jason had no idea that he was up next. Kelly got angry about what happened in 2014, so he killed him with a heroin overdose in 2016.  When there were gaps in her story, which led to her arrest, she said that she and Regan had made a deal to kill each other.

The Beginning

Kelly and Jason Cochran were both born and raised in Merrillville, Indiana. They met in high school and lived next door to each other their whole lives.

The couple married then made the devilish pact

They loved each other so much that they got married right after Kelly Cochran graduated from high school in 2002. They also promised to kill anyone who they might cheat with.

The Pact is Broken

Kelly Cochran worked in a factory that made parts for Navy ships, which is where she met Christopher Regan. Even though he was 20 years older than Cochran and had been in the Air Force, they became close and fell in love. Regan was also cheating on his girlfriend.

On October 14, 2014, Regan planned to spend the night with Cochran. She didn't know that she had fought with her husband about him the night before. Cochran invited her lover over and had sex with him while her husband shot him in the head.

Regan and his girlfriend

Ten days later, Regan's girlfriend told the police that Regan was missing, but the Cochrans had already dumped his body in the woods. While they were parking his car on the edge of town, they didn't notice that it had a note inside with directions to their house. The police were more careful and found the car, the note inside it, and then interrogated the couple.

Even though the Cochrans got rid of all the evidence of their crimes and the case went cold, the FBI searched their home in March 2015, which scared the couple so much that they ran away to Hobart, Indiana. On February 20, 2016, the couple's suspicions got the best of them, and Cochran killed her husband.

Kelly Cochran Arrest

The EMTs said that Cochran's husband had died from an overdose, but they didn't know that she had given him too much heroin on purpose and then smothered him.

She left Indiana on April 26 without telling her family. When the Hobart Medical Examiner found out that Jason had died from suffocation, she was considered a fugitive.

She was charged with murder.

Cochran mistakenly chatted with investigators via text messages and herr phone was quickly tracked.

Kelly will spend the rest of her life in prison

On April 29, she was arrested. Last, Cochran told the police where to find Regan's body and the murder weapon.

Once word got out that the couple had cut up Christopher Regan, friends and neighbors realized that they had probably eaten Regan's barbecued remains at a cookout hosted by Cochran.

Prosecutors also said that Cochran had said in interviews that she had killed several other people and that she may be a serial killer with up to nine bodies buried across the mid-west. Kelly Cochran will spend the rest of her life in jail.
