Chapter Three

It's been six months since the first week when Louis invited Amy to have lunch together on the weekend. Now, Amy trusts him, and they have lunch together, every week, at Louis's house. Every week, Louis insists that he join her when visiting her mother. And always, Amy does not agree and says that my mom should not experience any sudden changes because of her health.

One day, in the forest hut, an hour after Amy injected Antonio with his morphine, a continuous beep was heard. Amy quickly injected Antonio with another dose of morphine, and he became completely unconscious. She unchained his hand and dragged him to the van. When she put Antonio in the back of the van and closed the door, she heard the sound of a car approaching the cottage. It was too late; she could not escape from the forest road. She took out his hunting gun and stood waiting at the entrance of the road. The blue Fiat entered the area. Amy yelled angrily at Louis.

Louis got out of the car and said, "You were supposed to be with your mother. What are you doing here?" Before Amy could say anything, he put his hand on Amy's throat and pushed her towards the van. While holding her neck, he said, "Tell me what's going on."

While struggling and cursing, Amy said, "I came to pick up a box that my mother gave me when I was a child. I wanted to prepare her and start to talk about you."

Louis removed his big, rough hand from Amy's throat, but Amy continued to swear. Louis, while trying to hug Amy, said, "I love you. That's why it was important for me to come after you." But Amy got angrier. Then suddenly, she said, "Okay, take me to my mother, because I am so angry that I can't drive anymore."

Sitting in Louis's car, Amy asked, "How did you know I was here?" Louis said, "When you went to the bathroom in the morning, I shared your location with myself."

The car was moving slowly on the dark road. Louis said to Amy, "Do you go this way every day? It is very dangerous."Amy said, "I don't have a choice; I need to help my mother." then she took out a small box from her bag and said, "It was my birthday gift, and my mother gave me this. She said that whenever you need help, just open the door of this box and help will come." Louis said, "How funny, what's in it?" Amy replied, "On this dark and dangerous winding road, hold on while I show you."

Louis stopped on the dirt shoulder of the road and sat down next to Amy. Amy took the box towards Louis and opened the door.

Louis fainted. The substance that was quickly sprayed into his eyes worked very quickly. Amy said with a smile, "Did you understand, nosy? Now go to hell." She took Louis's head, rubbed some of the cocaine from the box on his gums, and then injected him with morphine. She carefully and obsessively checked all the parts of the car to ensure she didn't leave any traces of herself, then put Louis's foot on the gas and put the car in gear. The car moved slowly towards the valley. Amy started running in the opposite direction of the road. She was still running in the dark when she heard the sound of a crash, and a few seconds later, the light of the explosion lit up the environment a little.
