Ashley had been a bright, adventurous soul. She loved the ocean, and most afternoons she could be found exploring the rocky shores with her sketchbook. On a warm summer day five years ago, she went out for one of her usual walks along the cliffs—and never came back.

Her mother reported her missing that night, but the search parties found no trace. No footprints, no belongings. Just the endless ocean and the mist that seemed to swallow everything whole. BACKGROUND

Ashley Linden grew up in the Lakeland and Mulberry areas of Florida.

At the time of her disappearance, Ashley and her husband were staying in various motels around the Tampa area. Prior to moving to Tampa they had been living in Plant City where Ashley worked at Taco Bus.

Ashley suffers from depression and anxiety which she was taking daily medication for.

DISAPPEARANCE

On September 9, 2022, Ashley Linden and her husband got into an argument, leading to her leaving their hotel room without any of her belongings.

Ashley hasn’t been heard from since.

Her husband filed a missing persons report with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office on September 10, 2022 when Ashley failed to return home.

INVESTIGATION

According to Ashley’s husband, the couple got into a fight on September 9, 2022, with him telling her to stay outside their hotel room. According to him she stormed out without grabbing any of her belongings.

He called her mother at 5:30 am on the 9th to report that Ashley was missing, and officially reported her missing to the police when she still hadn’t returned the following day.

According to Ashley’s family, walking away and being out of contact with family is completely uncharacteristic for her. She is not from the Tampa area, and doesn’t have any friends or family that live there.

On September 12, 2022, authorities called Ashley’s husband and told him they had made contact with Ashley at a 7-11 store in the Ybor City area of Tampa. By the time he arrived she was gone.

On November 17, 2022, Ashley was spotted standing on the sidewalk with a purse and suitcase on Nebraska Avenue in Tampa, Florida. This is the last confirmed sighting of Ashley.

WHEREABOUTS

The location of Ashley Linden, as well as the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, remains unknown. Her case is classified as missing and remains unsolved.

APPEARANCE

32 year old white female with blonde hair and blue eyes. Ashley stands 5’6 tall and weighs 125 pounds. She has a red birthmark on her inner right thigh and a small scar on her left eyelid.

Ashley has several tattoos; baby girl with a devil on her lower back, a star and flower on her right hip, and three small hearts between her index finger and thumb on her left hand.
