Emma Walker & Tristyn Bailey

Emma Walker and Tristyn Bailey, two young innocent teenage cheerleaders with bright futures whose lives were taken by their murderers. Texas teen cheerleader Emma Walker finds love with a high school football wide receiver Riley Gaul who becomes controlling and abusive until her life was cut short by the bullets of her footballer high school sweetheart. Another cheerleader from Florida, Tristyn Bailey, 13 year old girl who was close to going to high school hangs out with a guy she sees in school that took her to a unknown place and takes her life.

Emma

Emma Jane Walker born in March 20,2000 at Knoxville, Tennessee to her parents Jill Walker and Mark Walker. She is youngest sister to Evan Walker. According to families and friends, they describe Emma as bubbly, smart, compassionate and sassy. Walker was an honor the head cheerleader at Central High School in Knoxville, Tennessee. Walker had dreams of . She had plans to graduate high school then plans to enroll at University.

Walker+Gaul

By the time she was a sophomore, early fall, Walker met high school junior wide receiver number 8 William Riley Gaul. Gaul had graduated and was an 18-year-old freshman at a nearby college by then while Walker was in her junior year of high school.

According to one of Walkers friends, it seemed like a normal teenage relationship but behind the relationship it was toxic waste. According to friends, he was controlling and possessive towards Walker. In the next two years, they would be on and off with each other and dramatic text messages and Snapchat post with each other. Walker had enough and finally broke up with Gaul. Since their break up, things didn't go so well with Gaul. Gaul started to gain some obsession over Walker. Gaul tried to work things out with Walker but Walker refused. While in his college dorm room, he swallowed a bunch of Vicodin pills and washed them down with alcohol in an attempt to commit suicide. On November 18, 2016, Emma was at a friend’s house when she received some alarming messages from an unknown number. The texts said she had to do what she was told; otherwise, someone close to her would get hurt. Eventually, she got a message saying Riley was outside. Emma and a friend found him in a ditch, and he claimed to have been kidnapped. However, the police were never contacted. His friend, Noah Walton, didn’t buy that story.

November 21, 2016

Emma Walker was asleep in her room until around 2 a.m. (according to a neighbor) two gun shots fired. At 6 a.m., Jill went in Emma's room after Emma didn't response nor left out of her room, she sees Walker dead at the scene. Jill contacted the authorities but it was too late for Emma. She was 17. Gaul expressed his grief on social media.

Gaul convinced his friends that Walker's death was a suicide while his friends were secretly recording him until the trash bag Riley had contained the murder weapon, some black clothing, gloves, some other things. The authorities believed he was the mystery man at Emma’s door before her death. Gaul was arrested and convicted for her murder of Emma Walker.

Tristyn

Tristyn Tyne Bailey was born on January 18, 2008 in Florida to her parents Stacy and Forrest Bailey. According to her families and friends, Bailey is a happy, beautiful teen who loves to cheer and loves to be on Tiktok. She was on two cheer squads and was a student at Patriot Oaks Academy. Bailey's cheer coach at Patriot Oaks Academy, described her as a caring young lady who was a natural leader.

"She is just the most cheerful, most spirited, friendliest person, is down to basically do whatever really to like help unite the team. Whatever it takes for like the team to get to the next level, she's the person to like help push the team forward,"

May 8& 9, 2021

Bailey and her family return home from a celebration. At 12:30 am a video captures Bailey walking in a neighborhood. She was texting 14-year-old Aiden Fucci, a schoolmate of Bailey's. Bailey never had a relationship with Aiden Fucci nor do I believe she has a friendship with Fucci, unsure if it's uncomfirmed. At 1:14 am a video shows the two were walking east on Saddlestone Drive.

At 3:30 a.m. a video from the same home shows a person believed to be Aiden heading in opposite direction alone, carrying white Nike shoes. Moments, later, video shows Aiden entering his home carrying white Nike shoes. The next day, May 9, Tristyn's mom finds Bailey missing and calls 911. An alert was issued on Bailey until Bailey's body was discovered on Mother's Day, May 9, after she was reported missing for hours. The next day, her schoolmate Aiden Fucci was arrested and charged in her death.

His mother Crystal Smith was also charged with tampering evidence. A surveillance footage shows Smith washing Bailey's blood off of Fucci's jeans in the house.

Aftermath

Gaul is now incarcerated at the Northwest Correctional Complex in Tiptonville. He was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 51 years. Gaul apologizes to Walker's family and regrets his action.As for Fucci, he was charged for first degree murder of Tristyn Bailey; Fucci and his mother Crystal Smith both plead not guilty. Fucci is still in custody at the Duval County jail while he awaits trial because St. Johns County does not have a juvenile wing in its jail.A petition on Change.org has gathered more than 700,000 signatures, urging the State Attorney’s Office to charge Fucci as an adult.
