The reason a lot of people are cheering over the. Assassination of the CEO of United healthcare is because, people are tired of paying outrageous healthcare premiums only to deny services when they need life-saving treatment. The price of healthcare is going up with very little innovation in healthcare being approved. I’ll give you an example from my childhood I. was going to have surgery probably on my hips because they were constantly being dislocated as I reached the OR administrators from the hospital start to stop my procedure because the insurance said they were going to deny the procedure at the very last second and the doctor said he told the hospital it was too late because I had already received anesthesia and he was proceeding with the procedure. I've heard of this happening to many people I know. Insurance companies love to do things halfway, they will pay for the first part of a procedure, but. not the second part.
Luigi Mangione frustrations with the healthcare system it’s such a familiar place for millions of Americans, who have healthcare coverage they are still struggling to get the treatment they need for life-sustaining care. Just imagine for one second that you are a responsible person. All your information is up to date you pay your insurance premiums on time, and you feel like you have more than adequate healthcare coverage until the day your doctor tells you; that they have discovered that you have a life-threatening condition, life cancer, or some other life-threatening condition. You think yourself, this is scary, but I have pretty good healthcare coverage, so. Whatever my doctor recommends should be covered. Soon thereafter you get the news that the treatment that gives you best chance of survival gets denied. Your doctor writes multiple letters to the insurance company explaining that the preferred treatment would provide the patient with the best possible outcome. The insurance company still denies the claim and tell the doctor to choose the cheapest and less effective treatment. Deny, defend depose was written on the bullets that killed United Healthcare’s CEO, because that is the method of dealing with most claims. Defend, deny, depose is designed to frustrate and exhausts the person filing the claim so that they will just give up because every time somebody gives up on a claim it saves the insurance companies money; You are not a person with the struggling heartfelt possible like that name condition that may need medical intervention you are just a claim number. Their job is to line their pockets with your premiums.
I think that a lot of people are champion Luigi's actions, because they feel their voices are being drowned. out by big bad. insurance companies. Most people do not see the government as an ally; they view them as just as money hungry. Most of the. Politicians are controlled by lobbyist and special interest groups. It seems like they insurance companies hold all the cards because they own the pharmacy and the doctors and the hospitals that we use. That gives insurance Nobody has the right to help themselves to justice, but at the same time people can companies an. unfair advantage in this battle for humane treatment. Most people are demanding the care and treatment they believe they have already paid. People pay healthcare for that one rainy day where they might need care what treatment for an unforeseen illness. When people get denied, for a life sustaining treatment is going to feel like a punch in the gut, like your life is merely worth dollars and cents. Many People probably believe that the CEOs death is a win for the little guy. Nobody has the right to help themselves to justice, but at the same time people can only take so much bullying that eventually they will snap, and bad things will happen.
