Word of the Day: 鍵

So today I finally signed the paperwork to get into my new apartment, yay. I was told though, that the keys to the mailbox weren't left by the last tenant so we had to fork out 40 bucks to get a new one. While we were at the post office, I got my address changed as well, but my mom ended up losing her car keys to my grandma's car.

Luckily my nieces were able to drive us home to get the keys to my mom's car and I had the keys to the house so, no worries there, but then AGAIN my mom forgot the keys to her car in my niece's car... So my niece came driving back to the house to drop them off.

I think this is a sign that my mom shouldn't be driving today or there is something around keys today. I just thought, " Ah, my theme for vocal is figured out for me. "

We still need to run a few errands more but we decided to stay home for a bit and figure out our next steps. I was hungry so we decided to order some fast food to make it easy on us since it was quite distressing.

My mom tried calling AAA about the keys and getting my grandma's car towed from the post office, but without my grandma present, they didn't allow for anything.

We were so annoyed but drove back to the post office to call a local locksmith to perhaps make another key for us. More money we're having to fork out but we couldn't help it.

The locksmith had use wait for 45 minutes before saying they weren't able to make it. My mom was busy trying to call another locksmith place so, I decided to go into the post office to see if anyone returned some lost keys.

I noticed that at the counter, there was a big gap between the counterspace and the computer so I looked inside there and found the keys! Finally! I rushed out and told me mom I found them and we decided we deserved some milkshakes today for all the stress we've been through.

It was a bit of a wasted day but we did manage to get a few things done and that is all that matters.

Reo has been off doing his thing in Monreal with his friend. It sort of makes me a little lonely not talking to him a lot but I guess when he is traveling he keeps his phone off most of the time.

I want to say that is a red flag but maybe it is just his custom since he wants to be more present with what he is doing. He said he is helping his friend move so, I am sure it is not very easy and he'll need to concentrate but, he has also gone and seen some beautiful gardens and probably went drinking with him too.

I am also not sure about moving in. I hope I don't get any cockroaches or the water is yellow or something since it is an old building. I guess I'll just have to pray for the best and keep going. I am not too worried about living there otherwise. Also I just need somewhere to rest and study and this will be perfect for that.

I'll be honest, I am sort of done writing for this post but I still have the 600 words to reach so I'll keep writing empty words for a little bit until it fills up right where it needs to be.
