What affects mental health?

Our personalities and experiences can also play a role (for example being naturally outgoing might help someone deal well with stress).

However what ultimately determines how well individuals do in any given situation is often based on their ability to deal with emotions like anger effectively through healthy coping mechanisms such as exercise or meditation instead of resorting impulsively reacting negatively towards others."

How can I improve my mental health?

There are things you can do on your own, like talking to a therapist, yoga instructor or other health professional. But many people find it helpful to talk with a friend, family member or even their doctor about mental health issues.

If you're having trouble sleeping or concentrating due to stressors (or lack thereof), try taking some time out of the day during which all you do is relax—this could mean listening to music while lying down or walking outside without doing anything else except focusing on your surroundings. You'll likely feel better after doing this!
