There were times when nobody knew where the best talent is found or who is blessed with what kind of qualities, everyone wanted to keep their personal life just to themselves but now is the era of social networking, and multimedia everyone is on the internet each & every individual have their accounts to share with public whatever they are up to, be it their life events, their family vacation trips all their experiences are on air.

There were times when renowned celebrities use to be bothered when they were with their family in a public place when people or their fans use to approach them just for an autograph or picture with them, they usually avoid all these public activities, because their privacy was so dear & precious to them, but now due to all these social media channels & lucrative tags along with them each celebrity is earning with all these channels cashing their fame & talent, not all these celebrities but every common human is a celebrity now with all the social media accounts they are getting fame & wealth simultaneously.

As these networking accounts have provided a medium for the public to express their talent & creativity in return they get paid for the hard work they do, at the same time it has lots of drawbacks regarding the new generation as many youngsters are utilizing these sites for some non-beneficial activities that are making them least interested in their academic field as they are searching for short cuts to earn money.

Many things get viral that are of no use but they get viral although that discourages many talented people as their talent remains unseen & revealed by just those who are nearby those who are academically more indulged spend less time on social media so they are not that aware.

Each technology & invention till now have its merits & demerits same is the case with internet & social media, that also at one hand had made employed & turned into a millionaire many at home moms, innumerable people who were not even so expert to use the computer are now earning handsome salaries at their accounts through freelancing, youtube, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and the list goes on.

Simultaneously it is demotivating to utilize their energy to study for long hours they lost interest in their academics; many hard-working workers who are paid less for their tough hours of work schedule start thinking to quit their jobs and spend more time on internet & research, making the practical field more devoid.

Everything has to be in balance if we promote the best we will get the best result & vice versa.

I think there should be regulations on social media to the degree that it negatively affects the public good.

The more social media we have, the more we think we’re connecting, yet we are disconnecting from each other.

The great attribution of social media is that it gives voice to voiceless people therefore we should be optimistic enough to use it.

We need to start identifying the triggers that aggravate mental health issues in our society - bullying, social media negativity and anxiety, gender-based violence, substance abuse, the stigma around issues such as maternal issues, etc., and we need to speak up about these more and get to the source of the problems.

The more genuine we are about ourselves, the more others will know that there is no shame in struggling, feeling low, anxious or having bad days - we all have them.
