Time went back

Time went back

By adam hornsbyPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

Time went back to the memory of ten years ago. At that time, I was still a naive, think that play is the world's children, did not know what dream is. But in that naive, ignorant grade, I found myself also can't think of love to now. I like to play basketball, like the joy of winning with teammates, the kind of sweat on the court days. Maybe looking back on it now, it's still childish, but that was my original dream -- to play all the time. Perhaps it is because that is the idea of childhood, will not look back to insist on, hard. Into the club, all kinds of games will follow. I thought things were going really well. Until the accident landed on me without haste and without inclination. Not long after the game started, I was forced to leave the game when I suffered a bad knee injury against the seniors, and all the hard work I had done for the game was undone. From then on, in order to let me relax. My parents banned me from playing basketball, my coach didn't let me practice, and my club was banned. It was the loneliest, most painful and most self-defeating time for me. However, I still have my dream, I said, must do. Now that I think about it, it was pretty persistent. I would sneak out, dragging my right leg that I couldn't bend, take the ball I stole from my parents to the court, practice alone until the street lights were on for a long time, and then sneak home. That kind of "desperate" feeling for their own dreams will always remember! At first, experiencing many obstacles, I also wanted to give up, just like those who had been abandoned because of my three-minute passion. But every time in that most tangled moment, I can really feel the difference between dreams and them. Dream is not to give up can give up, no matter how tangled will make the right choice, no matter how difficult will insist on things. It wants to accompany me for a long time, how can you leave it halfway!

Maybe it is not so great, but it will always remind me not to forget the original purpose. Even an innocent, insignificant one. The journey of life, it accompany me to walk together, will not be lonely, will not hesitate, I will go longer and farther, leaving no trace of regret.
